Following the very tragic events in Sri Lanka over the Easter period, we would want to express and show our solidarity with you for this horrific attack. This action in no doubt was very senseless act of violence against innocent Christians at their places of worship during such a sacred period for all Christians around the world.
The members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Glasgow totally condemn these actions in the strongest possible terms and wish to express our sincere... condolences to the victims, those affected and all Christians.
Sadly, the perpetrators ascribe their senseless actions to Islam, but the true teachings of Islam never condone such action against innocent humans and rather teaches that killing even one innocent person is like killing the whole of mankind.
We are indeed saddened and horrified by the tragic attack and innocent loss of life. We only pray that the Almighty God grant comfort to the victims and all those affected by this barbaric terrorist attacks and enable Sri Lanka to move forward with peace and hope the perpetrators are brought to justice by the authorities to deter others from committing similar acts.
