A new garden designer providing a fresh approach to landscaping in Edinburgh, throughout Scotland and the UK; from sketch ideas and masterplans to comprehensive detailed design and project monitoring services.

As a registered Architect, Amie offers over a decade of design experience, a keen eye for detail and, above all, a passion for rejuvenating outdoor spaces.

Whether your garden is large or small, in an urban or rural setting, public or private, Amie prides herself on adopting a client centric and site specific approach with each project assessed on its individual merits.

Initially pursuing a career in architecture, she studied at Newcastle University and went on to work in a number of commercial practices in Edinburgh before qualifying in 2013. 18 months later, and yearning a change of professional scenery, she enrolled in the HND Garden Design programme at SRUC Edinburgh, graduating with a distinction and setting up AJR Greenspace in the Summer of 2016.

Away from the drawing board, she currently works part-time in a nursery, Kevock Garden Plants, in order to grow her plant knowledge and horticultural understanding. Plants have become a major passion and Amie wholeheartedly believes in the positive effect of green spaces, regardless of scale, in the hustle and bustle of our every day lives.
