Al-Furqan Mosque is the second purpose-built and one of the largest mosques in Glasgow, situated in the west end of city. It aims to instill conviction and inspire contribution based on authentic Islamic knowledge.

The prominent scholar Dr. Musharraf Hussain (Director Karimia Institute Nottingham) will deliver Jummah Khutbah tomorrow @ Al-Furqan Mosque insha'Allah. This would be a very thought-provoking talk insha'Allah and everyone invited to attend this great gathering to achieve great benefits.
Please note that Jummah Khutbah speech will start @ 1:30 pm and Jamaat will be held at 1:50 pm insha'Allah.

The UKIM is shocked and saddened at the horrific killings in Christchurch, New Zealand where Muslim worshippers were targeted as they were going about their prayers on the holy day of Friday and strongly condemns these acts of terrorism unleashed on the Muslim community in Christchurch.
Such acts of barbarity once again highlight the need to root out Islamophobia and other forms of extremism from society and bring communities closer together in order to defeat the preachers of hate. Yet again we see terrorists looking to divide our communities and sow the seeds of hatred. UKIM President, Mr Sikander Mirza, said “our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this tragedy and their families during this incredibly difficult time. We must combat this evil together. We must remain united and resolute.”
