“Went to phoenix alba mta for my CBT and could not believe the passion for biking from these guys. So much so I was converted back to biking (after 27 years away) and it would not have been possible without this team. Halfway through the CBT I had booked my theory test and the next day had bought the bike I would eventually get! Craig made sure that we were all aware of the basic operations of the bi...ke and reassured us at all times that we could do this - also made sure we knew all about his love for the scooter! Next we had Cammy for the on road part of the CBT and if we called it an experience I would not be doing it justice - he firstly made sure we could ride a bike to an excellent standard before going on road and treated us in a very professional and educational manner while pointing out small facts. These small facts included hazard avoidance, tips and observations, and the now mandatory course on that lot called . . . Cyclists. We felt completely at ease with Cammy knowing we were safe and secure but also learning things that perhaps were more advanced that what the CBT was for, but he felt it was his duty to make sure we understood all impacts and aspects of biking. Over the next few months I went from CBT to theory, conversion to 600cc, and to MOD1 and MOD2 through DAS with Cammy, Alex, and John. I cannot stress enough how this would not have been possible without all the team here - including Skye and Blue. The effort these guys go to is incredible and the skills, drills, commitment, passion, enthusiasm, patience, and a million other words I could use would not do them justice. They have given me everything they could have done and my journey may not have been completed without them - it certainly would not have been so enjoyable, so educational, so mindful of my safety, and the pinnacle must have been elected the first chairman of the cone patrol. I rang that bell with gusto when I completed my journey with them but they will always be with me when I bike. I have also kept in mind the coffee to biking ratio. I cannot thank all of you enough and hopefully I have demonstrated everything you bring to biking and bike training and safety on the roads and I think that I am also a better car driver from having listened to the team. “

just sat my CBT with phoenix glasgow, great bunch of guys the banter was plentiful :) dosent matter how much experience you have on a bike they go at your pace making sure you understand all the information, any problems you have they will help you, this is the second CBT i have sat the first was with a different training company but i can safely say that training i received at phoenix glasgow was the best i have had, i would recommend these bunch of guys over anyone else :)

Wow. Just wow.

I am the first to admit I'm not a confident person. I came to Phoenix Motorcycle Training as I heard great reviews about them. Having never sat on a motorcycle before I was a complete novice. I needn't have worried. Everyone from Skye at Reception to Callum the owner, were fantastic! I needed some extra training, mainly to build my confidence before heading out on the road ride. Callum reassured and encouraged me all the way and I honestly could not have done it without him. Callum you are incredible! Thank you so much for your patience and support. The best motorcycle training school in Scotland. They design the training according to your needs. Had my Das assessment with Callum today. I must say brilliant trainer and on top of that a wonderful human being and very down to earth. I was very depressed as have been ripped off by another local training school who are only interested in making cash and using old bikes which broke down and force people to train according to their terms. Phoenix motorcycle training school is different. I was made comfortable. Motorcycles they use are in very good condition and I got my confidence back today. Thank you Callum for helping me out.

Recently Redone my cbt and is 100% the best place to go for your motorcycle training, guys are honest nice people full of useful and helpful information they have great facilities and rider gear compared to the last place I done my cbt which was in a portacabin and kit was poorly maintained

On such a high from graduating from Phoenix Motorcycle training with my CBT today.



I had never been on a scooter before my first go at the CBT a month ago. The last time I tried driving any kind of motor vehicle was 30 years ago and the last time that I cycled on the road was nearly 20 years ago. Lack of confidence was a big issue for me on the first day and I must have fallen off at least 20 times not to mention the infamous driving up the wall incident...



Craig and Alex reassured me that if I kept at it I would be fine and while the rest of my very experienced group headed out to Part E on the road, Craig let me drive around the Centre grounds to build my skill and confidence. I returned for 3 lessons with Craig and each time he helped me to believe in my ability to be a safe scooter rider.



Today hitting the roads in rush hour traffic I felt totally secure and confident and now am looking forward to building my skills on my own.



These guys are passionate about bikes and about helping their students to be the safest bike riders out there. Craig is amazing and if you are reading this and thinking about doing your CBT and have never been on a motorbike or a scooter before, come do your Pre-CBT with Phoenix. Take your time and enjoy the journey - it feels brilliant to know that you will be road ready at the end.



A big thank you to Alex, Cammy and last but not least Skye. You are a wonderful crew and I'm going to have to come back and try out the big bikes some time so that I can hang out with you all again.

Just completed my CBT today after not being on a bike for the last 27 years. From start to finish the instructors were fantastic. Great at explaining what was expected from me and advice given was second to none. Would like to thank John and Chuck for their time and guidance. I hadn`t been on a bike properly for 13 years and have been riding pillion for the last 5 years and decided I wanted to do my CBT and get my own bike. After a fair amount of searching I found these guys. I needed extra help, more 1-2-1 training and some more time and that's what they gave me. I then went back a few days later for my ride out and everyone there couldn`t have been any better I then managed to pass my CBT because of everyone's help here. I would highly recommend to any rider whether experienced or not. Thank you so much guys you were great

All the instructors were really friendly and knowledgeable.

I was put at ease as soon as I arrived.

I will be continuing my training and with the help and expertise of the staff will hopefully gain my full license soon.

I did a Back to Biking session with Callum. I hadn’t been on a bike for a while, so wanted to blow off some cobwebs before my own new Triumph arrives. Callum is a fantastic guy—very easy to talk to, listened to want I wanted to achieve and delivered it. Callum wasn’t satisfied until I was satisfied, so we really did go that extra mile to get everything sorted. Ended up having a fantastic run out on a lovely sunny morning. Great and reassuring comms throughout, and good chat in the rest-ups/debriefs. Looking forward to doing some more advanced training with Phoenix soon. Thanks Callum.

Firstly i would like to think the guys from the Phoenix motorcycle Training school for getting me through my pre CBT and I would like to thank cammy and John especially for putting up with me and also a big thanks to Craig for putting up with me as well and for getting me through my CBT I couldn’t of got through it without the help of the guys

First class training facilities bikes are all like new or are new. The instructors are very supportive and friendly group of guys they will give you all the training you need to progress to the next level very quickly all you need to do is listen and you’ll be on your way in no time.

Fantastic instructors and very, very professional. Can truly recommend it to anyone even without any experience before like myself. Started from scratch and now on my new adventure. Thank you a lot !

Fantastic Training School !



I have just completed my Direct Access right from CBT all the way through to Mod 2 with Alba MTA. Throughout the process I trained with all of the instructors who are all fantastic at what they do and have made getting my licence seem easy, they keep it simple whilst still training you the correct way.



I would urge anyone thinking of any type of motorbike training to go here, you won't be disappointed.

Done CBT course on Saturday with Craig and John at Phoenix Motorcycle Training.

Was a cracking day, the guys made me feel quite at ease and there was plenty 1 to 1 time with instructors. My bike was a wee yamaha 125 and it ran as sweet as a nut.

Booked course at short notice and it cost £30 less than local CBT courses.

Facilities were excellent and I'll be taking my 15 year old laddie along with me when I have my 3 hour ride out, he can go learn the basics at the training centre.

Did my CBT. First time ever riding a motorcycle so I was quite nervous, but our instructor John was great. He explained everything slowly and clearly. By the end of the day my partner and I were out on the roads and building confidence. We both passed and I would highly recommend Phoenix to anyone.

Completed my DAS with Pheonix Alba yesterday and cannot thank all the instructors enough for the time and effort they put in to train you to the highest standard, starting from my CBT right through to the completion of my Direst Access Course has been a great experience with them. A great bunch of instructors that make you feel at ease throughout the whole journey while developing the skills to be a safe and competent rider.



I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of getting their license from beginner right upto full.
