Despite the odd shower a good morning for the British Eventing show jump training
We have not been very good at posting lately but plenty has been going on! Some eventing but plenty of show jumping - some days it's been two different shows a day! Plus plenty of fun with Maja & Tomas!
Doodle enjoyed his outing to Moreton Morrell today for the 90 - a good boy with a nice test, one down and great cross country round. Sadly the helpers are back at school so just the dogs today!
Nearly but not quite for Goofy at Badminton this year - sadly this was his last chance at this level as we have decided its time for him to retire and have fun now. Today he went out to un wind with Tubber Rebel (Bugsy) & Who’s Blitz (Blitz) who can all compare notes on jumping round Badminton. Huge thank you to Bliss of London, equine premium, k9 & ecogold for supporting Goofy in recent years.
Been a busy few days with Dag at Ballindenisk with the Irish Juniors, Doodle finally getting a run in the 90 at Solihul and then today the novices ran at Whitfield. All nice tests, 1 down and super cross country. The young grooms are getting very good this Easter holiday!
Burnham Market - Vinnie
Burnham Market today for Goofy in the OI - jumping a lovely double clear. Fen & Vinnie in the novice, Vinnie had a pole and fab XC whilst poor Fen only got to do a test as he wasn’t his usual self today. Hope to be home by 10.30, kids & dogs all asleep, a long day and it’s been very very cold, it’s even snowed on us!!!!!!
Not only are the horses getting kitted out by Bliss but the girls are getting in on it also! #blissoflondon
It was Belton Advanced for Goofy this weekend - a nice test, an unlucky pole down showjumping and cross country he had a run out at an early corner and then went very well. Maja, Tomas and the dogs had plenty of fun too!

Well we were out by 3am today Great Witchingham bound - Vinnie & Fen both went well in the Novice. Goofy enjoyed his first outing since Badminton last year. He is 21st on the wait list to get into Badminton this time so 🤞!
