Lucy Tara Doran is gifted with hair. My hair is curly, course, wiry and difficult; except in Lucy's hands, where it is turned soft, shining and golden with no trouble at all.

Lucy is a kind, honest and funny woman, who really cares about people and that makes sitting in her chair a lovely experience.
Sometimes, I am so caught up in chatting with her that I forget why we are there, but then I look up and see my hair, mine and yet not mine.

My hair looking like the dreams that I have when I am so pretty I could pull George Clooney. All because of Lucy Tara Doran; the best hairdresser in Cambridge.

I love having my hair styled with Lucy she is such a great haridresser. In fact I was so impressed with my sister's wedding hair I booked her on the spot for my own wedding
(which is now this week! ) and I obsolutely love the beautiful updo she has created for my day. It is always such a pleasure spending time with her while she is doing wonders with my hair!

I always look forward to getting my haircut by Lucy as she does an amazing job. I have recommended Lucy to several of my friends and all of them have been really pleased with the results –
one of them has moved to London, but still plans to come back to Cambridge to get her hair cut! It is great to find a hairdresser who truly listens and cares that you are happy with your hair.

I am so happy i've found a hairdresser who makes me feel great every time I visit the salon! Lucy really knows hair and I trust her enough to give her free rein to do whatever she thinks will suit me -
and she gets it right every time. Apart from the great cut and very natural looking highlights, it is also a pleasure simply to spend an hour or so in Lucy's company - what a lovely girl! I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Whenever I've been to visit Lucy I always come out pleased with what she has done. I have spent years trying to find a hairdresser who listens to me and does what I ask for, she takes the time to get to know what you want and what style you like to go for.
I have been trying to grow my hair long for a few years now and she knows just how style it so she doesn't cut too much off but always freshens it up, gives it more life and leaves it feeling healthy.
She also gives a great colour, she takes the time to look at your skin tone and what would suit you and advises you on what colours would work best for you. I also find Lucy isn't in a rush to get you in and out as quickly as possible, she always does that little bit extra so you leave feeling really pleased with how it looks and always willing to give you tips and advise on how to style your hair.
I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Lucy was a great find for me and my curly hair! She really cares about getting it right, doesn't pressure you into a cut or colour you don't feel comfortable with and always does her best to fit you in for an appointment!
She was recommneded to me and I have passed on the recommendation to a number of friends. I'm definitely very happy with her and my hair.

I first went to Lucy when my regular hairdresser had a baby. I was delighted with the result, the cut and colour were superb and got two thumbs up from my hubby too. I'll be booking another appointment with her in a couple of weeks.
I would definately recommend her! !

Lucy is the best hairdresser I've known. She is a perfectionist and I'm always guaranteed to leave her salon with perfect, coloured and styled hair. She is always patient to listen to what you want. I have recommended my friends to her and everyone is so happy with her that she is mine and my friends regular stylist.
I'm so thankful that she is my stylist and would recommend her to anyone.
