Alexandra Hotel

We stayed here for 4 nights in November. The rooms are nice with everything you would expect from a hotel of this age. I would not want to turn up to a hotel like this and have a modern room as it would spoil the whole experience. Breakfast is excellent and the staff are friendly.
We were working here and we normally get put in a premier inn but I am glad the one accross the road was full up. 👍

We stayed in a standard double room.Very clean rooms. Bed and pillows above average. Staff excellent. Breakfast very good. Good value for money.

Great for a weekend getaway. We used this hotel as a base for winter activities. Food was great, room was cosy. Bathroom was larger than the bedroom!

Easy access from the motorway. Like other said, the room and restaurant seems a but dated but they are spacious. Restaurant are great. Food are in good portion. Location of the hotel is really good. You can walk to the high street, next to the station and next to a lake.

The downside would be parking. Before I booked the hotel, I checked online about this hotel. People mentioned about the motorbike parking issues. I do have similar issues. I was lucky to get the last parking space available. I saw others arrived later struggle to get a space.

The staff were outstanding especially the front desk staff. The bistro was fine for dinner. Our first room had a very unpleasant smell. Happily they switched us to another room which was fine. The building is tired and make sure you get a refurbished room. The location is great and there is plenty of parking. Using postcodes for gps will lead you astray!

Lovely hotel in the heart of Fort William. We arrived late at night, tired after about long day in the hills. The staff were fantastic, greeted us with a smile and rushing a food order through to the Bistro before it closed. Food was lovely and plenty of choice.

The staff at the Alexandra were all lovely, really pleasant and helpful when we arrived. Our room was nice and breakfast had plenty of choice. Couldn't fault our stay, we'll definitely be back.

The location was stunning and very close to both the loch and the shops. The dining experience was great - however there was not much variety for vegetarians. The staff were very accomodating and offered to make one of the starters a main for us.

This is a really pleasant place to stay in a beautiful little coastal village. The views are amazing and if you love sea food then definitely eat here too. Well worth a stop off even though its a little off the beaten track

Comfortable, reasonably priced, great food, ideal for both town and Ben Nevis.

Lovely teas and coffees and scones were served by very friendly staff, and the room we were in was very pleasant.

I've never actually stayed in this hotel, but I did have my wedding reception in it. I've also eaten in it's , which is very reliable for an excellent meal. I have also been to it's "Party Nights", which really have to be seen to be believed! The whole atmosphere is almost electric.

Welcomed to hotel by staff who went the extra mile to look after us and made sure we enjoyed our stay.
