We stayed for one night the room was great with a bay window overlooking the sea would definitely come back
We have been several times to the Alexandra, and think it perfectly positioned to view the harbour and bay with all the comings and goings of the boats. Also brilliant for birdwatching on the shore.
The service was excellent for dinner & breakfast as was the food - plenty of it. Staff all very friendly n helpful. Room was good size as was bathroom. Will certainly b back.
Not long arrived home from my stay at the Alexandra Hotel.
The staff were amazing, very efficient, warm and welcoming. Mika on the bar was lovely :)
The entertainment for the most part was brilliant, it was nice to be able to get up and dance.
The rooms were lovely and cleaned everyday.
Location was beautiful.
Overall it was an incredible experience, I'm already looking into booking it go back again next year!
Nice food, good welcoming, nice view outside, good night party and, nice tour.
Just got home from the Alexandra hotel
Had a lovely Christmas with my parents and my wife
Unfortunately the weather was not so good this week howling wind and horizontal rain
The rooms we had were awesome clean and tidy every day
The staff were rushed off there feet from dawn till dusk

Had a lovely time food was great. Staff excellent only problem was small room and our view was watching a bus driver wash his bus but i would choose. A. Better room next time Xx

Fabulous setting and service needs a bit of an upgrade but apparently this was happening the week after we left .
Excellent hotel ,very clean ,Lovley staff ,food good also .
Could do with turning the heating down a bit ,roasting in every room .
Can’t see how the previous remark regarding renovation comes in
All rooms we were in were first class !
Back home today after a five day break what a fantastic time we had from our coach driver Paul to all the staff at the hotel they gave us a brilliant time the food was very good-and plenty, the staff, worked hard to give us a holiday to remember I have booked to go back for new year
We throughly enjoyed our visit. All staff members and drivers were excellent and enjoyed the tours.
Couldn’t of wished for more. Our room was comfy, clean and warm. In the restaurant service was very good and a lovely menu each day with several choices in each course.
Would visit again
Pleasant helpfull staff nice sized room with great views lovely breakfast only downside was bed was uncomfortable would visit again though
Nice room looking over the bay, staff very helpful, trips interesting to lovely parts of Scotland but long drives. Was, however, concerned that driver was texting on his phone while drive around 40 to 60 mph. Food a bit hit and miss sometimes very nice (chicken and black pudding), other times insipid (scrambled eggs).
Can’t fault the staff or the food even got a big bed for a drivers room nice hotel
Booked as groupon deal. Fantastic value. Hotel obviously undergoing refurbishment. Quiet room at the back. Feels like new beds. Most comfortable. Food and service very good. Management and staff most helpful. Will be back.

Room was dirty dust everywhere even on the tea pot ....Filthy
