I recently visited the park centre in Stirling to buy or first buggy. We were greedy by helpful staff who were very knowledgeable about the products and helped us to buy the right one for us. She even ensured that the car seat fitted our car and advised us on what to get to ensure it fitted properly. I didn't catch her name but very helpful!

Terrible experience cheeky as anything staff ruined the excitement of buying a pram, avoid like the plague.

Very bad and concerning customer service experience that has lost us a lot of money.

My wife had ordered a pram from Stirling Pram Centre for our baby due in March 2016, and was advised at the time she had up until her due date to pay any outstanding balance. Unfortunately her pregnancy didn't turn out to be so straight forward as we had hoped, and she required continuous appointments at the hospital causing additional stress and worry on top of normal pregnancy.

My wife received a phone call from Stirling Pram Centre early January to advise that payment had not been met by the 29th December 2015 and that she needs to pay this ASAP or she will lose her order and initial deposit. With the stress of this difficult pregnancy I decided to contact the Pram Centre myself as this had really stressed out my wife, and with all going on at the time this was the last thing she needed. When I telephoned Stirling Pram Centre I explained the situation and advised that any future correspondence comes directly through myself, I explained that this was something we did not agree to (payment date, as it would have been straight after x-mas) payment by the 29th December and explained that we had up until our due date to pay the outstanding balance as agreed in store, the person then advised that we only have a few days left to pay, and there was no alternative. I then asked in regards to our deposit, could this be given back, could this be put on a gift card, basically is there anything we can do. I was then advised "don't worry, if anything happens to baby we will give you a full refund but other than that then no".

The statement should NEVER have been made, especially in the line of work that the Stirling Pram Centre provide, I was so angry I decided not to continue this call any further, the person on the other end of the phone seemed pleased with herself that she managed to deflect another "nuisance customer".

I decided to phone the next day and ask for the Manager, I was advised that she was not present at the moment but would return my call, I waited all day for a call only to be called just before 5pm where I was driving back from work so missed the call. Over the weekend we went into a panic as we knew we couldn't afford to pay out so much money in the time-scale they demanded, we decided to buy a pram second hand with the money we had at the time from Christmas. I phoned the manager back on the Monday / Tuesday and explained everything and advised that I was not happy with their insensitive statement made and their unreasonable demands, the manager in all fairness did apologise for her staffs behaviour. When I told her the current situation she said "we can extend your payment date for you no problem", this is very strange as when her employee asked her this the week previous (I overheard the full conversation between manager and employee over the phone) she had not accepted this and demanded the money paid now. I explained that in a sheer of panic had to go out and purchase a second hand pram due to all of this, and she asked if I would still like the pram, I advised well I couldn't afford to pay all the monies within your new time-scale set . I was advised that my order was therefore cancelled and deposit lost.

Was it a case of January income expected to be below average for the rest of the months due to the time of year, is this why you demanded the money from us at such short notice? Why does any of your staff approach a situation like this, remember you are mainly dealing with pregnant ladies, the last thing they want to hear (if they are going to difficulties in pregnancy or not) is a full refund will be given if "something happens, do don't worry we will give you a full refund", An apology for any such behaviour in your line of work is insensitive and should never have been said.

After being a customer of Stirling Pram Centre for 5+ years and a lot of monies spent within this place, I am sad to say that we will never return, we were planning on making full payment by end of January but will never return.
