Born and brought up in Linlithgow, West Lothian, Allan was schooled at Linlithgow Academy and has gone on to have a career in specialist child care for almost 20 years. He holds a professional qualification in Social Care and a professional management award endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Management.

Over the years Allan has spent time assisting family and friends to deliver and prepare speeches not only for weddings but other key events. This brought him to the point of launching a business to promote and deliver his services professionally to the public.
