Allan Murray Architects is a design-led architectural practice based in Edinburgh, Scotland. We are passionate about creating new buildings and new public spaces, providing a rich, rewarding and enjoyable experience.

Our Philosophy
The design aim of the practice is to produce imaginative design solutions which are creative in their response to the client’s aspirations and appropriate to the client’s needs. The strength of our work lies in its fresh approach to creating high quality architecture, strongly integrated with parallel skills in Urban Design and Landscape Architecture.

Sustainability
The projects we work on have a long lasting impact on the surrounding environment and communities and we have always taken this responsibility seriously. We strive to design projects that are responsible and take a long term view of minimising energy use and carbon emissions. This approach involves appraising the client's requirements at a very early stage to incorporate intelligent, environmental control and resilience as an fundamental part of the design.
