The best practice I have ever attended

I'm not using my real name. The name I used last time was Beth Tyler, you can read that review on here. Iam going through a very hard time, not long out mental health ward as I took a razor and started hacking at my face and body with it. I had been trying to see a doctor, phone always engaged then no appointments and a call back is no use. Have been diagnosed with insomnia, BPD, PTSD, severe anxiety, social anxiety and paranoia by different doctors and psychiatrists. I was to pick up a repeat prescription today and was refused one of the items as I was to see a gp for a review. No one told me this and I did have a appointment the day before but because who it was I canceled it due to my paranoia. The receptionist said I had told them I ran out of the meds on the day I handed in repeat this is not true. Side effects of suddenly stopping meds are really bad and will multiple mine. I'm scared I'm going to do something life threatening over the wkend. These meds were the only ones that ever helped. Only a few hours but it helped so much. I feel so angry and let down. No one told me it needed reviewed.

I have been with Allan Park for 10 years. The staff are great, friendly and helpful. The G.P's themselves are very good. I have seen all of them at one point or another over 10 years. Dr.Gaskill, who is noe retired, was one of the best and most honest doctors I have ever had. Dr.Steele I would likewise, she really listens, makes you feel comfortable and seems to really care about her patients. Two newer doctors Dr.Dunsmore is very good, really listens, gives you time and you don't feel rushed and she is very easy to talk to. Dr. Phall, I have only seen a couple of times but he seems very genuine and friendly. I suffer from really bad anxiety and other problems and find it really hard to talk my problems and usually feel very uncomfortable. The staff and doctors at Allan park have never once been rude to me or made me feel uncomfortable. I'm very happy that I'm with them as they genuinely seem to care and want to help. I went through a really bad time a few years ago after a break up and doctor Stelle was brilliant and really took time out to help me and make sure I was safe and sound. Very good practice

Staff at desk very rude and unhelpful on the phone. Phoned regarding my mum having a urine infection that knocked her off her feet.
Rude woman on phone after I said she's really confused "your mum does have altzimers ". What???? There is a difference between altzimers and a urine infection I am my mum's home carer 24/7 so I know what I'm talking about with my mum's care and is she a doctor suddenly? NO!!! So hard to get help they don't give a dam I eventually got to speak to an unknown GP who prescribed what my mum needs to sort her urine infection but it could have been done so much more professionally. Bad practice and DR Gaskell has retired my mum's doctor so why did no one have the courtesy to inform there patients my mum for one was told it was in there news letter in surgery well how about the ones who don't read news letter in surgery if there not sent out to homes and official letter should have been sent to all of his patients. Bad practice the surgery is no where near the good friendly surgery it was when I was a child going there it's all about costs for Meds I've saw the GP and nurse look for the cheapest inhaler prices for me and a muscle gel they can't prescribe because it's too expensive for my back and my mum's hip???
So will my mum get that new altzimers tablet when it's available or is that going to be too expensive as well human beings not numbers!!!!!
Allan park surgery and also had three of my own urine samples lost by there reception staff bad practice over and over get this sorted fast it's not fair on your patients care and standards matter!!!!

The staff has always been very kind to me, and I am impressed by how much care Dr Fyall has given me, considering how obnoxious the process of finding the right med has been! He is a great doctor and a great person. I'm happy I got assigned this clinic!

NHS is really useless here.They don't treat you properly and neither try to understand their patients needs.Filled with people with only bookish knowledge.They don't even make an effort to help the patient feel better.It was the worst experience ever.Doctors in India are really way better.I guess this NHS is the worst part of Scotland (otherwise such a nice country).
