METEOR SHOWER! On the night of 22nd April, Lyrid Meteor Shower will peak in our skies. The lack of light pollution in the skies over Allanton Mill Cottage make it an excellent place for star gazing. 20 - 100 meteors per hour are anticipated on 22nd April.

We loved it here! The cottage is just perfect, very nicely done with everything you could need. Lovely location - red squirrel, jay and woodpecker are all regular visitors to the garden. And there's so much to do in the area. We'll be back for sure!
