They have put a list of fund raising evens that will be held within the club throughout the month of September. Reminder ...meeting tomorrow night at 7pm in Allanton miners social club....this meeting is open to everyone please come along and give us your ideas and help to turn this around from closer...it has been overwhelming that this has reached over 12000 people on Facebook plus 100 shares may I take this opportunity to thank everyone who took the time to comment ...like or share ... May I remind everyone... Allanton miners social club was built by the miners and paid by the miners ..these men not only worked long hours but worked day after day in the dark ..remember the only good thing that came out the mines was the miners . So please come along and HELP save what they built .thanks

Hi folks ..there has been a very big interest and support from a lot of members and friends over the past few weeks following the announcement regarding the closure off Allanton miners social club....we are overwhelmed by the help and support being offered ....we have decided to hold a meeting next Monday night 27th of August at 7pm to discuss a plan off action we could take to try and stop the closer....May I also remind everyone that many of our ancestors helped to build this club by money being taken from there pit wage every week ....Allanton had 3 collierys kingshill 1 ..2..and 3 sadly they closed like all the other surrounding pits ...Allanton miners club is all Allanton village has left connected to these ...please don't let history repeat itself ,save what our ancestors worked in the dark for .........Thanks .

Hi folks ..that's the tickets now available for craig leckie spiritualist physics medium show on the 20th of July priced £10 To everyone who has put there name forward for tickets they can now be collected from tonight at 8.30pm till 12am Saturday 1pm till 3pm ..8.30pm till 12 am or Sunday 1pm till 4pm ...8.30pm till 12am. Hi members and friends This year Allanton miners social club has been opened 55 years.. To celebrate this occasion We will be holding a dinner dance to celebrate the Anniversary which will take place on the 18th of August . Tickets are priced £20 ...this will include 3 course meal plus tea and coffee ( catering for the dance will be Andrew Sherlock). Entertainment for the evening will come from the fabulous vocalist Jay Jackson .... Anyone wishing tickets please contact Karen or Davie at the club ..

Hi folks , I would like to thank Mr Norman Boyd and Liz Clark for a fantastic show last night .I'm sure everyone will agree they were both outstanding , thanks to our bar staff Janet, Alan and Vikki for there hard work..
