A shocking and dreadful experience. We believe our dog was not well looked after and came back matted and smelling with injuries on her nose. She also came back with a cough that she did not have before.I wish there was a minus star that i could give. My daughter tried to make a complaint to the owner who didn't seem interested and threatened with legal action if a bad review was written. I am very disappointed

Our dog was placed in this kennel for a week while we went on holiday. Our border collie came back and her back end was matted and she was smelling and dirty. She also has a cough that she did not have prior. She has cuts on her nose that were bleeding. We are unhappy with this service and do not feel she was looked after properly.

My pooch stitch loves his visits to Allers. Place is great. He is knackered by the time he comes home from all the fresh air and the attention. Something that's difficult to do considering he is a pointer cross. Grooming service is also very good. Overall you can trust leaving the pup you love and not feel as guilty leaving him as you know he is in capable hands

Used these kennels and cattery and hydrotherapy , the staff have always been friendly and helpful especially the hydro therapist my lab went in limping and within 6 weeks was completely limp free and without his medication. Would recommend this for any dog as the fun they get from the session is great.also the therapist is very knowledgeable in the welfare of animals and times the dogs in the correct manner.

Terrible service and a con.

My dog suffers from arthritis and i felt it would be right to take her for hydrotherapy.

The hydrotherapy unit at Allers Farm is a complete con. We were charged £25 for a less than 5 minute session. Firstly we were not allowed to go in a watch our dog in the pool as the "therapist" said that this is how she works and prefers alone time with the dog. Thankfully we eventually were allowed to go see our dog in the room and she was standing outside the pool with the therapist , apparently finished her session.
We asked to put her back in a bit longer to watch her swimming . However I was shocked to see that the therapist did not enter the water with my dog and held her with the harness so she couldn't go anywhere. At the same time she held a stop watch to ensure she did not go over her time. We felt the therapist should judge the dogs ability and contentment. As I could see my dog seemed happy.

In general there was no personal treatment for the dog and was not hydrotherapy... just a dog held in the water for 1 minute at a time.

Very poor service and a waste of money.
