Almondell Country Park

Lovely park , great for long walks. Very popular with dog walkers and families. Parking isn't the best and can often be very wet and muddy with a few large pot holes so take care and dress appropriately. Lovely views too. Lovely hidden gem in the middle of a busy town.

Superb dog walking park

I love the walks in this park, some lovely rover views. The viaduct is a highlight. I would recommend parking at the three different entrances to get access to the different walks.

Fantastic local country park. Houses seem to be closing in around this beauty spot. More needs to be done to protect and conserve this area.
