Almondvale Gospel Hall Description

The Christians who meet at Almondvale Gospel Hall acknowledge the bible to be the word of God and it is the basis of their beliefs and teaching. Salvation is offered in the bible to all who acknowledge that they have fallen short of God's standard and place their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and on his death on the cross. To those who do so, eternal life is given as a gift, and, once given, is never taken away.

We believe that every Christian should be baptised by total immersion, as was practiced by the early church and recorded in the bible.

We believe that the functions of the local church, including with respect to worship and Christian service, ought to be overseen by elders, as set out in the bible.

We believe that every Christian should use the gifts given to them by the Holy Spirit to serve God. For some, that means teaching from the bible, to encourage and build up the local church.

We believe that, as a local church, we have a responsibility to reach out to the people in Livingston with the message of the Christian gospel and to support missionaries who are doing likewise in other parts of the world.

Each Sunday, we meet to remember what the Lord Jesus has done for us by eating bread and drinking wine from a cup. We will do this until he comes again.

The coming again of the Lord Jesus is taught in the bible and we await his coming again.
