Please though, be considerate to our neighbours and to other alpaca fans by being prepared to reverse if you meet another vehicle on the farm road - it is most definitely not wide enough for two cars to pass !

Alpaca Safarists and Alpaca Trekkers are lovely people and we've had some fab Alpaca Days Out visitors this month. Here are some photos to give you a flavour !
We're "closed" for Alpaca Days Out during November as we have a number of projects on the go that won't mix well with having visitors here - like building work, tree-felling and fencing. But we'll be back in full swing from the 3rd December and are taking bookings now well into January and February. Get in touch to make your booking.

Most days, we love our Alpaca Days Out visitors. But today, we had the best afternoon ! After a frenzy of bookings, we now declare that, barring any cancellations, we have no availability remaining for Alpaca Safaris or Alpaca Treks for the rest of October and the whole of November. Should any cancellations occur, we'll "advertise" them here.

We are being featured in the British Alpaca Society's quarterly magazine for Autumn 2018, just published. We're delighted with the article - do you recognise any alpacas ?

Alpaca Safarists and Alpaca Trekkers will have heard us talking about having to remove pesky bits of hay and straw from alpacas’ fleeces. Here are some photos to show that process. It’s a vital part of “skirting” a fleece to get it into the best condition for being spun into lovely yarns.
Some fleeces are much easier to prepare than others !

It’s a windy day today but quite sheltered amongst the trees.
Trekkers tell us how much they enjoy seeing areas of different trees as they walk with the alpacas. Well, today we’re working on a new path through the hazel trees. It’ll be “commissioned” shortly !

We had lots of lovely overseas visitors over the past fortnight, for Alpaca Safaris and Alpaca Treks. And a lovely party of “Hens” to celebrate the upcoming big day 🎉
Trekkers’ Cakes have included Chocolate and Orange, Chocolate and Salted Caramel, Coffee, Orange ... and Red Velvet Cake for the Hens !

Wow ,a fabulous, informative afternoon with Carole, John and the alpacas! a great experience for my son learning that just like us humans, alpacas come in colours, shapes, sizes and personalities! Will defo be returning!!!

What an amazing morning with Carole and John, very knowledgeable and welcoming hosts. My girls really enjoyed the farm and were lucky enough to be surrounded by the alpaca. A day they won't forget in a hurry. Beautiful animals but most importantly very clearly loved and well looked after. Wouldn't hesitate in going back x

Went on the Alpaca Trek and I can't recommend it enough! We were lucky enough to see lil baby Niven just a few hours after he was born, which was so amazing� it was so lovely walking the alpacas too. Thank you so much guys
