I am a freelance groom offering a mobile Horse Clipping Service for my local area.
Over 10 years experience and fully insured, I work quietly and quickly to a high standard.

My name is Amie, I am a Mum to my 5 year old son Dean and I live with my partner in Tain, Ross-shire.
I own 3 horses and have had horses since a young age. I began clipping whilst working at Skibo Castle Stables and haven't looked back since! I still work there from time to time.
The horses and ponies there have to look tidy at all times so I always work to the same high standards. I love to see the 'finished' product. Trimming and clipping a horse to look good gives me great pride.

I offer clipping, mane and tail pulling, trimming /clipping of feathers, mane hogging, plaiting, Stencilbum stencils and any other general tidy ups!

At the moment I have one set of heavy duty clippers (mains operated) and a small set of battery clippers (for heads of nervous horses and doing LIGHT feathers)

In the near future I hope to get a heavier duty set of battery operated clippers for clients in areas with no mains power. However, these would be limited to doing 1 or possibly 2 horses at a time so would only offer this within a small area of Ross-shire.

I travel to you so my prices reflect all my expenses including fuel, vehical wear and tear, blade sharpening, insurance etc
Outwith my normal working area (20miles) a charge of 45p per mile is charged.
