Amplify Time Productions Description
Amplify Theatre Company was set up with the intention of redefining the way we look and present classic texts. Our approach to this is to conduct a series of workshops looking firstly at how we can contextualize or create a world that the text could be presented alongside in order to highlight or amplify the themes, messages or conflicts which are presented to us.
From this point, we then work closely alongside our company of actors in order to develop detailed characters and complex relationships between them on-stage. This is done by considering what we have developed so far in our world, how the character fits within it and then looking at the themes, messages or conflicts in order to bridge the gap between devising and presenting the text.
