Beautiful location for exploring Islay. Charles and Fergus we're wonderful hosts! We would stay again on a return trip.
Ideal location centrally located on Islay - Bowmore isn't far from anywhere. Street parking is readily available as well. Hosts are friendly and accommodating, and helpful with food and activity recommendations. Our room was a bit tight but well kept and furnished, clean and comfortable. The attached bathroom/wet room serves as both toilet and shower and makes good use of space (just remember too move the toilet paper before showering!). Bathroom also comes with a towel warmer and hair dryer. Room also has a tea/coffee set, TV, and WiFi. WiFi was a bit spotty and slow, but that seems to be the reality on Islay as a whole. Breakfast is also included, with coffee/tea, toast with spreads (butter, jam, etc.), fruits, eggs, bacon, cereal, etc. as you wish cooked up by the hosts.
The room was cute and just fine. We emailed them about having a third tag along and one of them replied that it was just fine. But when we got there a different person was surprised that there was a third with us and scrambled at the last minute to figure it out. But otherwise the stay was great. Breakfast was the staple Scottish food. Nice people.
