What a lovely location! So quiet and peaceful, there was 2 adults and 2 children plus one dog stopping in the lodge, there was plenty of room for us all. The lodge was clean and tidy, Rose pop to see us on our 2nd day and brought us a lovely homemade cake. The kids loved popping down to the pond to play and saying hi to the puppies barny and rubble. The stars are amazing at night due to no light pollution. Would highly recommend for people who want a break from the rat race x

We were there 24/12/17-26/12/17.The lodge was amazing, clean, good conditions. There was a christmas tree too, it was very attentive and kind from them. Thank you! We loved the lodge, the area :)

We were on a 2 week tour of Scotland in our camper van, but I wanted something with mod cons and space for my birthday. We booked a 2 night stay in a lodge and loved it. We were welcomed by the managers with a bottle of wine, birthday card and a scrumlicious home baked sponge cake :) The lodge was lovely and spacious, the surrounding area was beautiful. I'd strongly recommend a visit here :)

We were looking for peace & serenity, comfort & relaxtion and we got more than what we bargained for! They even supported us in our very own bonfire and a bbq evening. Fallen in love with the location, accommodation and above all a very friendly staff. It is definitely going to be our secret hideaway location for peace and relaxation...thanks a million Ancarraig Lodges for making it an experience of a life time for us! If you are looking for an organic & rustic experience for a wonderful time away from the busy routine life then this is the place to be!

We stayed on 3.11.17 for the weekend with our 14 month old son. We were in lodge 9 and all we can say is WOW. We had the most stunning views, a lovely (well-stocked) wood burner and a beautiful, homely and spotless lodge. The communication from the owners was second to none from the very beginning, even from booking in May! They were so accommodating and provide us with everything we could ha hoped for. A perfect getaway for an outdoor logo family. Thank you, we hope to see you soon!

Relaxing, rejuvenating & restful lodge stay for the perfect get away. The lodge faced onto woodland and provided privacy and a much needed break from the busy city living. Spending an evening by the fire, followed by going to bed under the moon and stars shining through the window made it hard to leave in the end.

Really enjoyable 3 day stay, Everything i needed was in the chalet a log burning stove was a bonus. Views are spectacular, it even snowed for me just to make it even more stunning. The staff are very helpfull recomending places to visit and good viewing points. All in all a lovely place to visit and for my first visit to Scotland could not have been better. I will be back.

Myself and my fiancée and our dog are just home and settled after a wonderful 2 nights stay here. This was a surprise trip for him for his birthday and we both had the most relaxing and great time. The weather got very bad and we had to wait out in the lodge while the ice melted so we could drive home and I honestly cannot believe how lovely rose was to us offering us to stay another night if needed for free (luckily we managed to get home) she was so nice and was more concerned about our safety rather than other company's/owners may had been (rubbing there hands together for extra money for another night).Touches like mean a lot. Anyway the lodge itself was great gorgeous, very cosy and also very clean. It was lovely to look at all the hills and snow. The shop was a bit of a walk but in the car only 10/15mins. It was so peaceful and relaxing exactly what we both needed. Cannot thank you enough would defiantly recommend a break here to anybody and will 1000000% be looking to come again in summer time! ��� THANK YOU xxx

My partner took me here to celebrate my 21st for a couple of nights, arrived on 12.10.17 for 2 nights, we were in lodge 10. Absolutely beautiful lodge, and even more beautiful setting. Lodge was spotless, and keys waiting in the lodge for us arriving, which was earlier than normal check in time so that was great. Loved all the wee homely touches in the lodge, and the log burner is great. Great location, lovely and quiet, and there is always an option to jump in a car, 4 miles to the local pub/restaurant. Pleanty of walks that you can go. We have been recommending everyone to come since we got home, and we will defo be looking to book back in the summertime. Only downside is that we wished we had booked for longer!!!

My husband, 2 sons and myself stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate my 40th birthday middle of November 2017. Our lodge was beautiful. I felt comfortable and safe. The wood burner was a beautiful feature and really created a cosy atmosphere. The site itself was fantastic. Just what I needed - a stress free, quiet break away from everything. Beautiful views especially the stars at night. Wow, what an experience. The kids loved it to. Exploring outside the lodge was an adventure for my 7 year old and the Wi-Fi was excellent for my 14 year old. My only negative is I wish we could have stayed for longer, but we will return and I will definately recommend Ancarraig Lodges to everyone. Thank you for making my birthday perfect x

My fiancée surprised me with 2 nights at one of the lodges for my birthday. The lodge was set up with balloons, birthday banners, birthday cake, food and beers and on the Saturday morning rented bikes which were sat outside our lodge ready for us, big thanks to Rose for this. Beautiful views of the Loch and great walks perfect for running and cycling.

We had a great weekend and highly recommend, the lodge was decorated to a great standard and very cosy with the woodburner going!

Me and my partner came for a 2 night stay as we are just about to be first time parents so thought it would be nice for a relaxing break. Has a great time. Great location. Lodges are clean and very homely.

Lodge 11- We had a fantastic 4 night stay over the new year holiday period with our two children (age 7&9). The cabin had everything we needed for that length of stay.

The cabin is beautifully situated. We were never bored with so much to do around us. We love the outdoors and walking but still need a few things to entertain the kids.

The owners were most helpful in assisting us with what we needed.

Despite the snow all around us we kept warm with the excellent log burner and heaters.

The village is a short drive away and has a few cafes and a good Co-op which was handy for the extras we needed.

We would happily stay here again, I’m glad I booked 4 nights. We’d of been disappointed if we’d of had to have gone home sooner!

Just home from a long weekend. Great cabins, really well placed to day trip up and down the loch easily. As soon as we lit the log burner, our son asked if we could come back! Loved it, thank you

I've just got back from a 3 night stay with my Partner and 7yr old Son and we loved it. It's the perfect place for exploring the surrounding areas. It's set back in a stunning & peaceful area perfect for a relaxing break. The lodges have everything in you need for a self catering break. We'll definitely be back

I had booked the lodge to reside in for 2 nights from 27th but unfortunately we could not get to it due to the snow, Rosanne was very kind to inform us by sms regarding the weather condition while on the way to Ancarraig from Edinburgh and also explained to us that due to the weather it could be dangerous, and that also we could get trapped into the lodge with result that we could not visit any other place wasting a day of our holiday. The service that we were show was outstanding and they accepted to cancel and refund the full payment & also helped in finding a substitute accommodation for us. Others would have taken a different attitude and just said take it or leave it I guess. It's a shame we could not stay in the lodge but I would definitely recommend them as they have outstanding after/before service which is a very rare thing to find now days.

Had a fantastic time, little things really do make your holiday!!! From hot water bottles to washing up liquid the little things made our stay even more enjoyable. Staff were so friendly and helpful!!! Would defiantly recommend as a place to stay. The cabin was wonderful little furnishings really made the place feel like home. Lovely log burner with very fair pricing for extra logs. If your going to Scotland this is defiantly the place to stay

Lucky for us the sun was shining both days so we got to come home with a bit of sun tan and amazing memories! We took our dog with us and she loved it. Plenty scenery on our long walks.
