25 years ago I went for a wee bike ride in the Andes with some clients... got a puncture at 5850m on Volcan Ollague! My ANDES business still runs quite a few unusual and bespoke itineraries every year, Have a look at the website for ideas:- http://www.andes.org.uk/expeditions-and-e xplorations.asp

The peak of Tortolas on the Argentina-Chile border. Our January 2020 expedition will attempt this 6160m high peak as well as a couple of others in the area. http://www.andes.org.uk/ex…/chilean-vol canoes-agua-negra.asp

A telephoto of the summit area of Ojos in early February this year.... along with one of my clients I was really wishing I had my skis!

Thom Rankin on the 6146 high summit of El Ermitaño, Chile. This was his 30th peak over 6000m in the Andes. In the background are 13 of the others he has climbed with ANDES, including Ojos del Salado.

Colombia Climber. ANDES ran the first commercial climbing trip to Colombia in 2001, and we first visited the Sierra Nevada del Cocuy in 2006, both many years before any other company was running trips to Colombia. We've also visited the country to climb in 2009, 2011, 2014 and 2015. This expedition sees us returning to do some climbing in the remote and spectacular Sierra Nevada del Cocuy. http://www.andes.org.uk/expeditions-an… /colombia-climber.asp

Thom on the summit of Chachani in Peru a few years ago, with me and Barry. This was his 20th summit of over 6000m in the Andes.... I'm heading back to Chile tomorrow with him, hoping to get his 28th, 29th and 30th peaks over 6000m. Thom is one of the few people in the world to have climbed so many high peaks in the Andes, all of them guided by ANDES. www.andes.org.uk
