Funeral notice at the request of her family. Morven Methven died peacefully after a long illness bravely borne in Strathcarron Hospice, on Sunday 14th October 2018. Beloved wife of Scott, loving mum of Lilly-Grace and Fearghas, much loved daughter of Phil and Margaret Kemp. The funeral service will be held on Friday 26th October 2018 in Norrieston Church, Thornhill at 11am, thereafter to Thornhill Cemetery . All family and friends are respectfully invited. Aberfoyle Bowling Club held our mixed triples sponsors day on Sunday, this is the fourth year we have sponsored this event. Great effort was made to make sure the day went ahead, thank you to everyone involved and we look forward to seeing you next year.

Ross Anderson, Managing Director of Andrew Anderson & Sons Funeral Directors, says “Start Up Stirling does an important job in supporting people in need across the Stirling area and we are pleased to give up our time to support them.” Start Up Stirling Funding and Communications Manager, Lau...ra Kearney, says “It is an incredibly kind and generous way to help Start Up Stirling, but more importantly help local people who are in hardship and going through a difficult time.” “Bob has been a great addition to our team, spending a few weeks in our warehouse before going out as part of our rural crisis food support delivery team.” The charity now delivers crisis food packs to towns and villages across rural Stirlingshire 4 days a week. Colin Smith, Convener of Start Up Stirling is delighted that a local business is supporting the charity through providing an employee half a day a week – “We receive so much support from across the local community and a number of businesses and organisations but this is a first where a company is providing 4 hours resource to us every week. We are really pleased that Andrew Anderson & Sons have chosen Start Up Stirling to support, and in such a generous way.”
