Anglia Ruskin University Judo Club

Anglia Ruskin Judo Club was started by a group of students back in 2008 and quickly became a successful club winning lots of BUCS medals. The judo club supports all level of students.

The club was awarded High Performance Sport status within ARU and in 2017 this lead to a Head Coach, Michael Stewart, being appointed and a brand new Dojo being built at North Cambridge Academy.

This last year has been particularly successful for the current students:
BUCS men’s team bronze
3 BUCS gold medals
1 BUCS silver medal
1 European University Champion
4 Players with a British ranking including 8th and 4th.
