As an optometrist, I bang on about dry eye and it’s treatments on a daily basis to anyone who is prepared to listen. This paper highlights how dry eyes can be a debilitating condition (particularly for diabetics) and why treatment and ongoing therapy is essential to have a decent quality of life.
