When you organise a wedding, you end up meeting an extraordinary number of people along the way. These people are always lovely and very helpful, but it’s quite rare to meet people that end up becoming your friends. This is the case with Nicola, who runs Annabelle’s. Nicola not only created a menu of delicious food fitting for our vision for the day but also managed to cater for my husband, who is a very picky eater. Nicola also helped with a lot of the preparation for our big day; recommending florists, decorations and the best place to get a marquee. We owe her a massive debt for helping to make our special day so perfect.

Popped in for lunch before a bank appointment and have to say the food is amazing and the restaurant itself is very welcoming and cosy. So much flavour, even in a simple side salad. The quiche and brie, bacon and cranberry ciabata was delicious. Don't how you do red onion marmalade in a quiche but it was gorgeous! Can't wait for Nicola the owner to cater for our wedding ☺ Will definitely be back for a visit soon. Would recommend Annabelle's for flavoursome food and reasonable pricing.

Nicola is very knowledgeable about weddings and is there every step to help. She will offer advice and ideas as well as share positives that she has experienced over the years of catering.

What a woman Nicola is! One of a kind. From the moment she came to our house to discuss our wedding at Kirknewton House Stables, to the very last moment of the day she was superb. She knows that venue inside out and answered any questions we had, big or small.



The food!!!!!! Outstanding and exactly what we wanted. Plenty of canapes to go round before the meal. Then we had sharing platters for starter, buffet main with ham, beef noodles, coleslaw etc, and a whole pavlova to share at each table for dessert. It was top class! Nicola organises all the waiting staff etc, Jackie and her team are fab and go over and above too! They all helped set up the day before and were there until the end to clear up.



All correspondence I had with Nicola was great. Even when she had not long given birth to her gorgeous daughter Bella she was still answering my messages. She's reliable and always willing to help.



Whether it's a wedding, family dinner, special event, BBQ etc, Nicola is your woman! She's a true foodie who will cater for whatever you wish. The quality of food is second to none as is the service.
