Annandale Arms Hotel

The Annandale Arms is a privately owned hotel that has been trading continuously for over 250 years. It has been in the same ownership since 1996. Recently, the Annandale has undergone a total refurbishment executed to exacting standards. The hotel boasts a restaurant that has won a number of awards over the years. The cellar has a good selection of wines. There is an intimate oak panelled bar where food is also served on an informal basis. The bar sports a broad selection of malt whiskies, Scottish gins and real ale. The bar is a focus for acoustic music sessions throughout the year. Moffat holds an annual music festival which has grown from this. There is a mixed customer base, both local, tourist, travelling and professional. In the winter months the area is popular for field sports.
