Took my mum and daughter doon the watter to dunoon.Has been many years since i have had a fish supper from Anselmo's and i am pleased to say the food is still excellent,the fish and chips were cooked perfectly and the staff in La Balena were lovely.best chippie in Dunoon.

The food was just as Awesome as it was 40 years ago when my Honey was stationed here. It was my first (Scottish ) meal way back then and it was my first meal this time.

The best chip shop in Dunoon!

Really lovely, proper fish supper with a cup of tea and a slice of bread and butter. Just like when I was a lad. Excellent quality fish, too. Friendly and helpful service in the little dining room. Best for miles IMHO.

I, to this day, rate my fish and chips eaten anywhere else in the world with Anselmos. Being close means they are really good.

Hubby got gluten free fish and chips and said they were fab. I got sea beam and can honestly say it was the tastiest fish I've had in a long time. Chips were cracking too, big thumbs up. Xx

Haven't had a chippy in Dunoon for ages and thought Cowal Games Saturday night was probably not the best idea as the place was really busy.... I was wrong! The food was great and the staff very polite! Everyone that had food raved about it also!! Thanks again!!

For me the best Fish and Chips in my life.
