Prosecco cake 🥂 from a recent wedding. The colours were designed to match the flowers and table plan 💐
In an attempt to #bakealong I made these wagon wheels after watching last week's episode. Jam, marshmallow and biscuits made from scratch, and covered in melted chocolate.
Coconut and raspberry 🍰 a more traditional cake than I'd usually make, this was for a 90th birthday and was going along to a book club 📚 Books and cake? Sign me up. In fact, I think I just planned how I'll be spending my birthday later this month - introverts unite! (seperately)
Mango upside down cake 🍋(that's a lemon, but let's pretend). This is a fresh, sunny, summery cake, made with lime and chilli as well as a whole load of alphonso mangoes 😍 It's nice and light, and not too sweet, so it's great for a hot day. Which we have been having many of, despite The Donald's assertion that there's No Such Thing as global warming. It's always been warm in Glasgow! That's what we're known for! Anyway. Coffee madeleine, dark chocolate cremeux, almond crisp and chocolate soil. I think I'm one of the only people who didn't go crazy over Easter eggs this weekend (last year, we still had our Easter eggs around Halloween...). But I did make this dessert for Easter Sunday 🐣💐🥚
