I visited the apex most recently as a patron of the spa. I paid for a single days use so that I could access the pool at a time where public pools in the area were full. It was more expensive than a trip to your local pool but the service and amenities more than made up for it. It was the day after the clocks were turned back and the staff were lovely when I randomly shouted to them from the pool to double check the time. The towels and shower products were brilliant as was the case with the double headed shower. The pool part of the spa had a steam room, sauna, (an amazing) cold shower, I believe 1 jacuzzi and 1 hot tub and obviously the pool. All of which were in full working order and at very least all looked well cleaned and maintained.

Stayed in the master suite and it was fabulous. Huge room with lounge area and bedroom separated by double doors. Floor to ceiling windows give fantastic views of the water and we had 2 toilets! Which made me chuckle. Windows were a bit drafty and some scuff marks on furniture need addressed but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was delicious, continental buffet, hot buffet and à la carte-something for everyone. Steak night was well received too.

Pound for pound (£) the best hotel in the UK, no doubt. Great set up, great views, friendly staff amd the comfiest bed I've ever stayed in! Oh, and when it comes to breakfasts they don't mess about either! Didn't get to use the spa facilities but they look great and i will definitely be considering it next time.

Was here for a conference in an afternoon. I arrived early so had some lunch. The buffalo chicken wings were horrible and the triple cooked chips were the worst chips I've ever had. Lunch came to £13.50 and really wish I hadn't bothered. Never once asked how my food was even when I left most of it.

Conference room was very cold with the air con. Although I think that was more the trainers decision. The door to the room locked whenever anyone went to the toilet and so they had to knock to get back in. Slightly annoying.

Staff are very friendly and accommodating, making us feel special on our anniversary stay. Rooms are clean and amply equipped, with the bathroom having both bath and separate shower, oh and a duck :) There was a mini fridge in the room and hot drink making facilities. Located in the heart of Dundee, just a couple of minutes walk from the city centre. Great views of the docks. Breakfast is extra and either buffet, continental or there is a breakfast menu from the kitchen with a good selection. Very enjoyable stay and will definitely return.

Nice hotel, free car parking which is rare! Would stay again. Didn't eat here so can't comment on that. Small but adequate gym with a pool, 2 hot tubs, steam and sauna. Clean and tidy and friendly staff. :-)

This is a pleasant, if rather bland hotel. We paid extra for a room overloking the water which was nice although the view was spoilt by the amount of seagull excrement on the window. The room was large, clean and well equipped, all the usual gear, iron kettle, hairdryer etc.nice big bed and 2 comfy armchairs plus plenty of cupboard and hanging space if you were staying longer . Bathroom had a walk-in shower as well as a bath which is a bonus as many hotel rooms have shower over bath or shower only. Toiletries were a bit stingy, doesn't matter to me as i rarely use hotel toiletries but i would have liked a shower cap. Service at checking and checkout was not very friendly or welcoming, no one asked if we had enjoyed our stay. The restaurant looked pleasant but had very limited menu. We chose the hotel because of its location , on the waterfront and paid extra for a room with view of the waterfront. It is also about 5 minutes walk from shopping. Car parking is included in the price which is a bonus given its central location. Good value overall.

Excellent. Staff incredible. Room great. Had early flight and they lovingly prepared me a breakfast take-away. Like being packed off to school! So nice. I can't recommend this hotel enough.
