This is a great campsite, very friendly staff who was more than happy to charge our phones and Go-Pro and radios (motorcycle tour of Scotland), and that's despite that we were only staying for one night and hadn't booked. Wi-Fi equipped, but only at the reception building, which was fine buy me considering that it was the first campsite we had been to during the trip with Wi-Fi, and the first time we were able to get on-line in around 4 days. The showers and toilets were clean and tidy, plus good laundry facility's.

My six year old son and I have just completed the North Coast 500. We camped here on our second night, overlooking the sea/Loch. We both really liked it here, quiet, short stroll down to the shore with café, pub and chip van plus lots of wild deer, beautiful. The facilities were all good and we used the fuel pump by the shore.

Lovely campsite, lovely accommodating people. Very thankful for the amenities - the shower and laundry rooms were appreciated! Also, the wifi came in very handy. We may visit on our way back to Inverness!

Lovely campsite just as you come off the Applecross pass - easy going site with good size serviced pitches. Beautiful setting just up the hill and a short walk down to the bay and the wonderful Applecross Inn for dinner and drinks! Visited early April 2016.

Lovely campsite in a gorgeous settting and very friendly reception. Interesting drive over the Bealach na Ba pass, worth doing the coast road as well. Highly recommend 😊

I was there for my mother's wedding last year with a yurt and a few guests. The drive up there was amazing, the surrounding views are breath taking, the campsite has everything you need including a place to eat and have a drink. I really enjoyed my stay and will return soon.

I love going to the campsite in applecross we have stayed in the B&B which is immaculate, Clive and Maureen are great hosts.we also stayed in a wigwam with our 3&1 year old boys who loved it.we love the food at the applecross Inn the seafood is really fresh&delicious with a friendly atmosphere.also on our last visit we went to the walled garden cafe to have breakfast it was a nice change and my 3 year old loved the tree house we almost had to wrestle him away .i would thoroughly recommend this campsite and surrounding area if you want to get away from all the stresses of daily life.the scenery is beautiful and the drive up and down the bealloch is a must .

Great camping - lots of lovely waymarked walks to explore and the roundhouse and broch on site are great fun for kids.

Staff were very welcoming and flower shed providing breakfast was a lovely surprise.

A little bit of heaven on earth... Very helpful and friendly staff who can't do enough for you... Try to get up here at least 4 times a year... Very biker friendly and so is the Applecross Inn... Some of the best biking roads and scenery anywhere in the world... Already booked for the September holiday weekend... Roll on September... See you soon folks and keep up the good work...

Bealach na Ba Road is the best road ever to get to Applecross, campsite was ok, facilities was ok too, staff friendly but no phone signal or internet(unless at reception), the food at Applecross Inn was lovely.

User

Was a bit shocked with seeing how much it had changed , it's not what it was but still okay for a stop off

This site has a lovely location but only rated this a 3 star as the cleanliness of the toilets was not good while we were there for a 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and the site has a lot under-utilised potential. You can only access the web from the office and with no mobile reception this makes life difficult if trying book trips, local restaurants, other campsites, etc. If your looking for fresh supplies the nearest shop is a mile away. If the owners were switched on then they would run a cafe in the polly tunnel and have basic supplies on site. There were some vending machines but were completely empty.

Stayed on campsite on Thursday night after a long drive from Scottish Borders taking in the pass on route. Campsite was very clean and tidy, toilet/shower block wasn’t the cleanest, a bit dark, dingy & smelly. Also staff weren’t very friendly.

User

£45 for a hut with a mattress and a heater is a bit over the top and then just because we moved the bikes over to the hut to load the bikes after 07.30 . To walk the full length of the campsite and tell us the next time we move the bikes make sure it's us leaving. I thought was quite rude.Apart from that not a bad site

I'm only putting a bad review because i have seen it when the lovely elderly couple used to be around poly tunnel like a little garden of eden hot food and drinks piped music.but they run there course and interest now in little waterfront restaurant. Would love to see a young couple respark life into it.

We have been coming here for years for the Highland games, got to say this is the worst year yet, the toilets and showers were a disgrace, I spoke to a Swedish lady who also told me she had travelled around Scotland and this was her worst place to stay yet. Such a shame as it is such a beautiful location.

User

No stars- looks like they don't want people to stay

Could be a great place with a little effort!!!

No mop in showers -so they were manky

The poly tunnel would have been a great little cafe or at least a great place to spend, if a little more care had gone into making it a pleasanter place (especially as the weather was so bad- this could have been a welcome refuge to buy or at least make a hot drink), but it was half full of crap.

Site not very well drained so lots of cars stuck.

Booked in for 6 nights but left after 3 when our awning groundsheet disappeared underwater and mud (my spirit left after 1 night!) In all my 46 years of camping this must be the WORST site I have ever stayed on!!!!

At a completely contrasting site now by Loch Ewe!! Would recommend this to anybody!
