This can have an adverse impact on your dental health... Some patients are unaware of this clenching/grinding habit, however on exam, our dentists can notice the "wear patterns" on teeth, and advise you of this 🍏

🍏What happens when you have virtually no remaining bone for implants? Many patients feel like they have to struggle with dentures due to lack of bone- this isn't the case!! Donald came to us from his regular NHS dentist in Helensburgh , referred for dental implant treatment. He had become tired of the bulk of his upper denture. There was insufficient bone to place implants at first, but following sinus grafts (a certain type of "bone grafting") we were able to place five impl...ants into the upper jaw. The second stage involved fitting a fixed titanium bar onto Donald's implants, with a "clip on" appliance (Much smaller and less bulky than a regular denture) which is extremely rigid and allows patients to chew steak, bite apples and enjoy full function without movement of teeth. This appliance is made of high impact acrylic with very cosmetically designed gum. These clip attachments lock it securely onto the titanium bar.
