AED structural engineers provide a range of high quality design consultancy services, working with some of the best construction teams in the country. Founded in 2008, we have offices in Edinburgh and Bath. Our staff all share an enthusiasm for projects regarded as out of the ordinary but also for giving more routine projects the attention that our clients expect. Unlike many other practices today we still undertake the majority of detailed design and coordination work in-house. AED has various interesting specialisms, but these exist as part of a wide skill base and we think this broad perspective is necessary for overall success. As part of this outlook, we do not promote one structural form or technology over another. We prefer a pragmatic approach where things are employed for the particular advantages they offer.
