Had been looking for a new mattress for our bed and decided to give this store a chance as had been let down elsewhere.

The service was great and I was ran through different choices, helping me find the mattress I liked. Once we went ahead with the purchase, the delivery date was scheduled and it turned up without a hiccup! The driver even called me an hour before he arrived.

Fantastic service from beginning to end.

Supplied the wrong size mattress, I had to make a 60 mile round trip to exchange it with no hint of compensation for their mistake. Made a complaint on their website and got no response. Very poor customer service I will not be back.

I had been putting off getting a new bed for too long. Just got my new bed from Archers in Edinburgh. Got a great deal and the guys couldn't be more helpful. Thanks again guys, I've had the best nights sleep ever!!!!

Archer's bed in our guest bed warranty 10 years, but it won't last, the bed wire broke from the side bed, very unusual and hurt our guest. So either avoid or keep your receipt underneath of your bed and prove them the date you bought. My bed 12 years is still perfect condition. I phoned to contact via e-mail, call several times, but they ignored my problems. I now realised they are not interested when the it comes to faulty goods. So avoid.

We were searching for a medium/firm mattress to combat sore backs and necks. After extensive research at all the main bed stores in Edinburgh, we settled on what Archers labelled as a medium/soft mattress (Royal Coil Essence ) that cost around 800 pounds in the sale. However, after sleeping on it for a few nights we found that the new mattress was actually extremely firm and was making our ailments worse than the firm mattress it replaced. The extra firm nature of the Royal Coil mattress was confirmed after a lot of searching and phoning (including the manufacturer in Turkey). We contacted the Archers store to complain that the mattress had been misrepresented but were told that it was Archers policy not accept mattress returns or replacement. However, we persisted and after a number of phone calls to Archers in
Edinburgh and Glasgow, (some of which involved 'heated exchanges') the sales manager, Ross Beveridge agreed to meet us in the store to help us obtain a suitable replacement. He was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time showing us a range of mattresses and expelling the pros and cons of each.. The mattress we settled on ( Silent Night Getex 2000) has been very good - extremely comfortable and neck and back pains disappearing. Our initial frustration with Archers has been turned around by the excellent customer service of Ross and his colleague, Dave.
