Archers Sleepcentre

Sales person sold me a latex mattress which is absolutely perfect. Had a great nights sleep over the past 2 weeks. So hopefully it will continue. Thanks Archers.

Purchased a bed for my son at the Kilmarnock store. Jim was great and very helpful he gave me loads of choice and information

At first the gentle was very helpful to great time explaining the bases and mattress to us till we decided on our dream bed . it would take two weeks which was fine as we know it was made for us we were asked if we wanted storage under the bed as it was a divan which we said yes , then asked if we wanted two or four drawers? we chose four . all was great !
left the shop really excited .
two weeks later we were called and a date was arranged for delivery and all was very efficient.
On the delivery date the tow guys came in almost dropped the bed they were so unwilling to carry it and then left it on the floor in the bed room and stuck a paper under my nose to sign for it . And that was were it all went bed i had just paid almost £2000 for a bed that they were not going to build for me ! when i asked about it they said yes we could have built it but that would had to have been arranged and paid for when ordering????? I was never told or offered this option! I was then left to build and fit a over size headboard which has bolts that go in the back of the headboard which is fine and easy if you have someone to hold it while you do it ! which i did not ! as i live alone. and the only way i could hold up the head board was to pin it to the back wall but how was i to get in behind it now to place bolt??? Impossible ! IT could not be done .
so it was left un fitted . I then pushed bed against the wall to hold it and continued to place my linen under my bed in the four drawers that i had for storage only to find that the headboard wraps so far round the sides that the drawers on the head side can not be used , remembering that this was an extra charge that I had paid for !
You can imagine i was not happy ! I called Archers to which they said they had sold me the wrong base for the head board and would replace the old one with 2 small drawers at the back and two lager ones at the front . no discount was made for this now new base that i was waiting on , which now had small drawers for the same price???
So I am hoping out of common courtesy that they will build and change over the old base for their mess up not mine ..........
Im still waiting for new one to be delivered so time will tell.

After sales care is shocking! Bought a Serene Elizabeth double bed late October, broke mid March! contacted them on 12/3/16 advised they would get back to me 14/3/16. I have actually never received a call back. I have had to contact them. Was advised that the parts had been ordered and would be delivered 16/3/16. I advised them that this was not suitable and that 18/3/16 would be suitable. Contacted them 18/3/16 at 2pm to ensure delivery would be made, was advised that it would. The parts were not delivered! it is now 22/3/16 and i still am without the parts which would render my bed fit for purpose. I have not even had my complaint e-mail acknowledged. Nobody is willing to take ownership of this problem! Poor show Archers Sleepcentre. Think twice before using this company!
