We have loved every minute of making this magic wee cabin a reality. It's been tough - 12 months to the day! - that have seen 3 seasons of winter, the driest summer on record up here, two injured ankles, a fall from the roof, a lot of sweat and then tears of joy at the final outcome. Last night our first guest stayed EXACTLY a year to the day we picked up the first stones and set out the frame. They LOVED it!
... Massive thanks are needed for everyone who took part and made this happen. They made it the warmest, snuggliest, loveliest, community project I have ever been part of - a community that spans the globe. The results are genuinely magical and it's the perfect place to disconnect from Tech and reconnect with nature and each other.

Arnor "making of" video has been edited and processed. There's a 4min version we'll email to everyone who was involved from Crowdfunders to Workaways and Local Businesses, but the minute and a half version is scheduled to air HERE on Monday at 9.44am.

On my next day off I am definitely going with a picnic and "bins" and looking for these guys. Our current guests in the Prancing Pony saw dolphins yesterday from the beach in Golspie as they walked up to see the front of Dunrobin Castle.

We had 2 nights here we loved every min of it..its very quiet place.it was well equiped with everything u would need..lovely wee wood burner that made us lovely and toasty when we adventured in from siting round the fire pit watching all the wildlife...we will be booking another stay soon..stacie and her family were warm and welcoming and nothing was a bother to them..
