Looks Stunning when walking through,But not good if you own a horse As No Respect for the Horses Welfare,And not Bothered when your horse is taken From it's Stable.STOLEN To be Precise !!!Stable Yard needs Serious Work,No Security For Your horse or yourself,Bad experience with Some of the tennents, Management Can't Even Come and sort thing's out,Not A Good Environment for horses!Bad Heartless Establishment,And no Considerate for The So Called "DIY Yard!!! As Atmosphere is Horrible for owner and Horse,Ruined my mare broken Me as a horse owner for 17yrs! Quickest Exit I have ever made And Worse Decision I Have EVEN!!Made were horses are concerned.Would Seriously Advise Anyone Thinking it's A good Environment from Stables,Field's,COMMUNICATION ,To Do There homework Before Committing,As The Laird has no interest in that part of the Estate,Only Voicing My "Really Shocking Experience"More For My horse As I Can Speak for myself,She was seen by Residents and Theses So Called Friendly Horse people,Let My Pride And Joy be Abused and Left her without Contacting Me,Disgusted And Angered Even having the Police On 2 occasions The Top Laird did not come and see that my mare Or myself was As well as could be after a Traumatic Experience!!,Allways respected Ardgowan Eastate,When I Attended Jumping nights And There 2 Annual Shows years ago When under The Wilson's.It's went into total Shame, And Are Ashamed As to What happened to myself and horse. Wanted it kept hush hush,So Sorry to break my silence, but Will Never Forgot And Will Haunt Me for the Rest of my days!!.
Lovely place for a walk run or cycle but could be doing with a couple of bins
Lack of bins put it off, but nice walks in general
I love Ardgowan Estate and feel very lucky to have it on my doorstep. I love taking our dog for a walk or hacking my pony through the forest. There are a number of trails you can take, there are also a number of geocaches in the estate. The trails in the woods are great for mountain bikes. The beach is also fantastic to walk along when the tide is out, take a blanket with you and have a picnic while the kids run about! You can also follow the trail from the beach, along the shore which will take you to Lunderston Bay then of course you can pop into the Garden Centre. Back at Ardgowan Estate you have The Chart Room where you can pop in for a drink, coffee or a meal. I think Ardgowan Estate is great for all ages!
