I absolutely love this hotel. The staff went above and beyond making sure we were taken care of. The food is delicious, and the hotel itself is clean, cozy, and beautiful. Would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to the area.

We would definitely visit this pub again. Stunning location & great service by staff. Food good-sized portions&tennents lager is on draught here,which is always a plus!👍 welcoming atmosphere. &when you've finished your meal, you can take a walk down to the shores of Loch Lomond.......Perfect🌝

Very easy to find though very easy to pull into the wrong entrance (caravan park / marina) if coming from the North. A very impressive building with some magnificent features but a lot of areas could do with maintenance / repair. Our room had a hole in the wall from the door being banged in to it (so a catch had been put on door which made it rickety to open) and the shower cubicle door was off its runners. The food was very good but unfortunately my husbands meal had plastic bag in his soup. The waiting staff passed this on and a meek explanation yet still charged full price. Unfortunately that left (pardon the pun) a bad taste for the rest of our brief stay

Enjoyed our stay at Ardlui. Room was clean and had a fantastic view. Bathroom felt a bit dated, but was perfectly functional. Dinner at the restaurant was decent, if a little pricey for the level of cuisine. Overall was not amazed by the hotel, but still would be glad to stay there again if in the area.

Lovely location with friendly and helpful service provided by young Canadian. Unfortunately she was let down by very expensive and disappointing bar food. A little effort could easily raise standard and make passing tourists feel more appreciated.

Really nice hotel on the banks of Loch Lomond. A great option for those doing the West Highland Way to stop a little early after the tough section from Inversnaid.

The wee boat across the Loch to and from the WHW was nice.

Help and service was really outstanding when the staff went beyond the call of duty to help us out with some issues.

We waited a little longer that we would have liked for food, but once it arrived it was fantastic. One of the most tender steak pies I've ever had. Not a place for a quick lunch, but a fantastic place for a relaxed meal.

Stayed in their walkers bothy.. the way up to the bothy was quite messy in the rains and not enough lighting during night time. The nearest washroom was across the road inside the hotel premises. Plus apart from mattress and beds there was nothing available.
