Wonderful views right next to the beach. WiFi is a bit hit or miss but where else can you sit in your front room in your jimjams otter watching!
Beautiful caravan and camping site - stunning location. Facilities a little tired but clean and serviceable
Outstanding pitches right on the beach, Staff were very helpful and let you get on with your stay, fully working facilities with nice warm showers. the beach and surrounding area are just breath taking i will definitely be staying here in future.
Stayed for 1 night. Site loverly, facilities great and staff friendly. Unfortunately the owner is having a new house built in the middle of the site. Unbearable noise 10am to 1730 on Sunday. Staff did advise workers of noise at the same time rain stopped play. Until the house is built be ready for a good view, good facilities but lots of building noise.
We stayed here last week. This is one of my favourite campsites. Shower facilities, water and washing up facilities are superb. Lots of flat pitches with wonderful views. The site is under new management and they are clearly making an effort to keep everything clean and tidy along with cutting the grass the help keep the midges away. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The only improvement I would suggest is perhaps and indoor area for people in tents to sit and hide away from the midge/weather when required (maybe a few chairs in reception or in the tool area next to the ladies toilets overlooking the Campstie). Also a basin in the launderette to allow us to wash clothes by hand. We also used to be abke to order drench sticks and newspapers from reception the evening before. Despite this I think with the new team this year (the previous owner/older guy was not friendly) and a few minor changes then there is hope for this place to become a regular place to visit for me :-) thanks guys, keep up the good work so far.
We have been coming to this campsite for many years. The views are fantastic and we have seen sea otters, seals and gannets in the loch on many occasions. The shower and toilet block has improved a bit this year but could still benefit from more refurbishment.
Great camping location, good for days out and Ullapool is only 3 miles down the road so close to all amenities.
Just you , the mountains and the sea. Clear waters and so peaceful.
After a late arrival we were woke up at 8.30 am to make the payment immedately. After that the grass was cut on the small playground while the kids were playing. Fee was ok though. The water in the facilities runs only as long as you press the button. Try to wash your hands, while pressing the button with one hand. No "extras" like a lounge or cooking shelter.
Nice view, but saw much more amazing sites.
Great campsite, very friendly and helpfull warden, clean toilets and showers. Very nice location!!
