The Government on Friday 20th March have told all clubs to close effective immediately due to Coronovirus (Covid-19).
Hence Ardrossan Indoor Bowling Club is now closed for the foreseeable future.

CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT
The Management Committee met on 17th March, 2020 due to the current guidelines on the Coronavirus and have agreed on the following;
1. All Senior League games from 12pm – 2pm... All Ladies League games from 2pm – 4pm ARE CANCELLED
2. Juniors on Thursday's and Saturday's ARE CANCELLED
3. Night Leagues WILL CONTINUE as normal (although up to the individual if they want to attend the club)
4. National Ties WILL BE played down as soon as possible
The Club is open normal hours for anyone who wishes to come in for a game of bowls or use the cafe.
All precautionary Health and Safety measures are in place within the club. We urge any members or visitors to follow the NHS guidelines on self isolation. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus -covid-19/ We ask any member or visitor who show any of these symptoms to stay away from the club.
Regular review in line with Government Health recommendations are reviewed on a day – day basis. The Management Committee will let you know of any changes as they develop.

Best of luck to our very own Blair Davidson and the rest of the Scotland squad as they travel to Stanley IBC to compete in the British Isles Indoor Under 25 Series. They will play England on Saturday Morning followed by Wales in the afternoon and finally completing the series against Ireland on Sunday. All the best lads bring it home.
Unfortunately Jack Montgomerie had to pull out of the squad due to his dad Hugh falling ill. From all here at Ardrossan Indoor BC we wish Hugh a speedy recovery.

Senior Gents Cup Well done to our seniors yesterday as they beat Galleon @Prestwick in the first round of the Scottish Cup. Rink Scores were: G Porteous 18 - 12 H Bennet W Dunlop 8 - 12 A Findlay... J Donald 21 - 8 D Cathcart J Walker 16 - 13 G Truesdale Ardrossan 8 (63) - 2 (45) Galleon
They now go to Auchinleck where they will face Lanarkshire next Wednesday 19th February.

A massive congrats to young Jamie Noon and Lewis Milligan who have shown how good they are in the Gents Premiere league team week in week out. Really good to see them getting their just rewards in getting selected for the Scottish under 17team. Absolutely outstanding... also a shout out to Megan Sproat who unfortunately never made it in this years sqaud, tho we are shire you’ll be get there in the future.

NATIONAL TRIPLES PLAY-DOWNS
AIBC are host to the south qualifiers of the National Gents and Ladies Triples play-downs. If anyone is at a loose end today come along and support your club and watch some great bowls being played. Ardrossan reps are ... Jack Porteous, Steven Burns and Darren O’Rourke for the gents Sarah Kennedy, Wilma Rodger and Wendy Grant in the Ladies First session kicks off at 9:30am and second session starts at 2pm Best of luck to all players today.

AIBC are hosting a fashion show on Tuesday 10th December at 12:30. All information is on the poster. All are welcome to attend

Well done to John Sproat, Gary Rice, Scott Wilson and Blair Davidson as they win their first round tie in the National Gents Fours today. They beat Lanarkshire at Lanarkshire 17-8. They now play East Lothian tomorrow morning at 9:30am Hard lines to the ladies Nikki Kuyt, Anna Hastie, Wilma Rodger and Wendy Grant after winning their prelim round 22-15 against Glasgow they lost in the first round against Ayr 18-13.
