Argyle Guest House Description
We are within the Cairngormes National Park (link) where Tomintoul is located on the Glenlivet Crown Estate. Famously known as the highest village in the highlands, it lies at a height of 1170 ft (356m), and proudly claims to be the North East gateway to the park. Putting you on the doorstep of some of the most wonderful scenery and activities that Scotland has to offer! !
Argyle Guest House has a total of 6 B & B rooms offering a variety for almost anyone – family rooms – twin rooms as well as double rooms, with contemporary décor and very spacious. Four of the rooms are en-suite and two rooms share a large bathroom on the same floor. We welcome children and there is a cot and high chair available on request. For those of you who have dogs and other pets we welcome them with prior approval. All rooms are non-smoking. For those that need to tweet or facebook we have FREE WIFI.

An ideal location for touring the area, there's something for everyone . . . if you wish to relax and get away from it all this is just the place. For those more energetic amongst you there is:

Stayed here this week on a bike tour - a great room, safe bike storage and the best ever Eggs Benedict for breakfast. What a great and friendly place - highly recommended. :-)

It was tricky locating the place at night but overall Awesome Place with fantastic hosts...
I had the most magnificent stay at Argyle Guest House. Wonderful hosts, delicious meals, quaint bedrooms and the most comfortable beds to sink in after a full day on horseback. I highly recommend it.
Beautiful village, lovely rooms, very spacious, comfy beds, fantastic hosts and breakfast to die for (I had scrambled egg with smoked salmon and friend had eggs benedict, all beautifully presented!) :) stayed here with my 3 year old and a friend and it was perfect. Loads of lovely extras and hosts have a wealth of info about what to do etc in the area. Felt like home and will be back as soon as i can be :) thank you so much!!
