Staff are amazing food is great would definitely recommend it

I came here whilst on holiday and found that it was quiz night. I had found the pub recommended in my CAMRA Good Beer Guide and very much agreed with its inclusion. I really enjoyed two well kept local ales.

"Greeted" by a barmaid who didn't even say hello despite being one of only 5 people in the bar. Poured a pint that was 1/4 head. Locals treated differently to tourists. Bit of a starwars bar.

Very pleasant place to have a couple of quiet pints while between busses. I now make a point of calling here whenever I'm in Ullapool. Recommended.

The quad room feels like a hostel room. Bunk beds really comfortable but just a tad too cramped. Great Location. Wi-Fi good too.

Richard and the bar staff are great fun very friendly and pull a nice pint the food was nice would've loved to of stayed but they were full

Good food in a nice old pub. The folk night didn't quite hit the mark. Location right opposite our room so easy to get to.

Bad relation quality-price we expected have a relax weekend but we couldn't rest properly because of the noise. Very thin walls so we hear EVERYTHING from others guest. (TV and passion love until very late in the night and early in the morning). Again very bad walls separating rooms.

The room was much rustier than in the photo. The lighting is terrible. Parking is all the way in the back so ask for directions before getting there because the GPS will not take you there directly. Staff are friendly but they told us the breakfast hours only to tell us the morning after that it wasn't included and didn't offer to sit us down and pay separately. It's a recommended hotel for a stop over in Ullapool while doing North 500 and there aren't many other options. I would probably look at Airbnb as this place was a little too eerie for us.

Stopped for food and water (beer) while doing the North Coast 500. Really cosy bar with friendly staff and locals. Very good food too.
