Very expensive, bad service, unhelpful

Just bought third car from this branch ,quick,fast ,helpful,,always pleased with cars I get from them ,staff pleasant and helpful at all times Def best Arnold Clark I've dealt with over yrs

Good effort. When I pointed out what I wanted the sales gent was more than happy to go the extra mile.

Took my car, a Dacia Duster to this branch for it's second service. The car is less than two years old. The experience turned out to be a great learning curve. A real school day.
I reported that the fuel gauge needed looked at. This is the third report I have made on this matter. The vehicle has a 50 litre tank, but when totally filled, instruments inform the driver that he has 400 miles in the tank before having to refuel. I was informed that the miles "to go" gauge before refueling, is only "an average". An average of what ?
I also reported that the carpet fitted to the front passenger foot well was coming away from the rubber seal at the lower part of the door frame.
It was never fitted correctly from the outset. Apparently, this is not covered under the warranty. So, for instance, if seats or dashboard are not fitted correctly, they too are not covered by the manufacturers warranty. Food for thought.
As I said, the entire experience was a real learning curve !!
