Great service until they have your money.
They sold us a car with cord showing on the inside if the driver's front tyre!
The car had been signed off by a mechanic but I have noted other reviews mention issues with tyres.
We could have easily been killed if the tyre had popped on the motorway, not to mention it is illegal!
Time to sort out your service department Arnold Clark!

Booked an annual service via online and opted for courtesy car and when I turned up the receptionist had an immediate attitude. Didn't know I was booked in for a courtesy car and then asked for a £10 payment for the courtesy car insurance! No other garage I've been to requests this seeing as it should be the company paying for the insurance. Advised I would reschedule and get the garage to collect and deliver. Receptionist offered to book me in for another day but when I went home and checked the availability via my online leasing company it showed availabilty for an earlier date so I booked this instead. Received a snooty call from the receptionist advising that we had already agreed on a date and wanted to know why I booked my car in for an earlier date. I advised her of the reason only for her to reply that she had cancelled my request and kept me in for the date she said. Collection date came and no one turned up at said time ( I work nightshifts so my partner was in and waiting for the man to collect the car). Woke up to have numerous missed calls from the garage so I called them back. A rather abrupt gentleman told me that they don't send anyone to collect the car unless they have spoken to the customer on the morning of collection first to ensure that they are in the house. Fair enough but no one had advised me of this and it was made out to be my fault! An hour later and they collected the car (the man who collected the car was very nice and polite however he was the only one!), 5pm comes and no communication from the garage whatsoever about a time for drop off (they close at 6) so I call them to be advised that they are outside my house and no one is in!!! So they won't collect it without making sure you are in first yet they will drop it off without bothering to do the same!!!! Completely unprofessional from start to finish, workers seem to have a chip on their shoulders and customer service is out the window. Would not recommend and will not use again.

Service department couldn't be less helpful. Very poor after sales service. Falkirk department much more forthcoming, review amended to represent general happiness with the outcome.

Right, I do not even know where to start. So our Ford Kuga broke down last Thursday and when the AA collected the car they diagnosed that the alternator had gone. I called the service department to see what was happening with the car on Friday and got told that it was indeed the alternator and that it would be around £400 for it to be fixed. So they had not even looked at my file to start with to see if I had warranty and to see if the alternator would be covered by this. Then once i informed them that I had warranty, the woman proceeded to tell me that the belt may need changed also however would not know this untill they had a proper look. It was myself that suggested ordering both the belt and the alternator to save time i.e. The alternator coming first to then find out that the belt needed changing and to wait another couple of days to have that in stock. I got told that the parts would not be in untill Tuesday. We got the car back on Tuesday saying all had been replaced, paid for the new belt and that the car was running smoothly they had even done a full service check and kindly put screen wash in the car. We have now gone to use the car today and the same problem has arrised, the car won't start and is acting the same way as it did last Thursday. Called the main store and the manager gave me the number of the service manager who would not be in untill Monday. No offer of a courtasy car, no offer for the AA to come and collect the car so it would be ready for Monday. Just stated that's all he could do is give me a number. We contacted the AA ourselves to get the car recovered and further wanted to make a complaint. We called the complaints department and the woman wouldn't allow me to make a complaint as she did not understand that we only just received the car back and the same problem is happening. Just kept advising me to contact the service manager on Monday and would not give me any further information about how to proceed with a complaint as there was no complaint to be made. This is the 4th time that something mechanically has gone wrong with the car in a year and a half of having it. Now on our only day off we have now been left with no car, waiting on a recovery service, no answers waiting untill Monday and not being able to make a complaint about the service. I am now starting to doubt that any work has been done to the car and I bet if we had been paying for the parts ourselves and not have warranty covering this, this would have been fixed with no problems. They have been given one star as I am unable to give them none. Brilliant service Arnold Clark.

Not impressed Arnold!!! Needed one new tyre fitted to the car, so booked it in, and as a service was due next month, thought I'd have that done as well to save a trip back. Dropped the car in by 9am, returned at the agreed time of 3pm, but didn't get it until 4pm. Paid for the service and the new tyre, and even paid a small fee for disposal of the old tyre, and on returning home, where I could see the car in the light, noticed the old, bald tyre was still on the car!!!!!!!!! They forgot to do it!! Fingers crossed that the other work was carried out OK.

The service at this garage was great . Craig the sales manager was the reason I bought my car at his garage .

Customer service from the parts/service desk is great they are very friendly. Unfortunately they don't seem to communicate with the technicians though. Dropped my car in at 8am to have the bumper painted after an unsuccessful "smart repair" only to receive a phone call at 3.30pm asking why my car was there they didn't know why it was in the workshop. Then another phone call an hour and a half later saying it was ready to go. Needless to say the quality of repair was terrible and got booked into a branch with a bodyshop to be fixed properly.

On another occasion it was in for 2 new front tyres and tracking due to the tyres wearing unevenly on the inside. They fitted the tyres but did not do the tracking. Took the car straight back to be told they didn't know it needed done (worrying that a tech can't figure that out with 2 bald tyres on the insides) and was told I'd have to go to kwik fit as they couldn't do it
