I love my Kia but was at the point of selling and buying something else as the service department is appalling. Have endured three years of being messed about the last experience was the final straw....The bonnet fault indicator light had come on, I was told that I must have had an accident to cause damage to the sensor so it would not be repaired under warranty. I was also told that they would need to have the car for two days to repair it. I phoned Ken Hope the Kia dealership in Kelso .....it was repaired in 40 minutes under warranty.....!!!!!!!

The service department never pick up the phone and the all office clerk can tell you is there busy keep trying... buys for 4 days straight?? 34 calls and nothing lol joke of a place

It was supposed to be fully serviced etc. I paid 25 000 for a golf R. In the pitch black and on the A1 inflating the tyres.
I felt vulnerable but I got away with my life. All lies from the dealership.

Helpfull staff

The worst kept showroom in seafield, all cars are either scratched or damaged and the general manager kevin ferguson always states its not my problem to sort it and also idrees always trys to change trade in values so.watch wen u agree a deal. All staff are rude and i witnessed racial abuse to a customer from mhairi and magda. My advice is stay away from this showroom as all the staff and managersare bothered about is targets. All prices shown are not inclusive of road tax, petrol/diesel, service plans and any others. So please be aware if you see a car for example £99 that is not the proper price.

Hard to find a sales person to assist only interested in making money

If you're reading this, consider yourself VERY LUCKY! It's because if you ever considered buying a car from this place, you've just saved yourself a lot of money and time by choosing wisely and AVOIDING them at ANY COST! Absolute nightmare. Sales staff thinking they're actually treating you right by doing what NLP Master salesman should do to get you to buy the car that will have it's engine gone right after the warranty. Not bad Arnold Clark, not bad! I bought a Toyota Auris 2009 in May 2016 sold to me with so much beautiful descriptions and stories about it, how they know the owner and nothing was ever wrong with it. And after 6 months engine fault developed (check engine notification, misfire on a second cylinder) and they refused any help whatsoever. I've lost 3 000 pounds on this purchase selling it to a trader, for pennies, and Arnold Clark didn't even consider for a moment refunding the money for their 2-years MOT and Servicing plan (purchased with the car that was sold due it's engine fault within few months) that I HAVE NOT USED at all smiling at me and saying that it's non refundable. I am telling you, they would tell you ANYTHING TO MAKE YOU BUY, and then... FORGET about YOU! Even when, your car is actually falling apart a few months after you bought it. They were kind enough to offer me a repair for over 3000 pounds (to a 5300 worth car), or an engine replacement for 6000 pounds (5300 car's value). AVOID. They are never interested in anything about you other than your money and sales increase for the branch. Just look for how they treat you and what they actually offer you. And one more thing - ALWAYS, ALWAYS! record every single conversation that you have with them. Over the phone or in person. That will save you a lot of hassle later on if you're already their customer. Thank you AC for an AWESOME experience.
