Do not touch this dealership at any cost! They take your money and then they wash their hands of you when you find that the brand new car you have purchased from them is a dud and not fit for purpose. Brand new car had to be taken back after two weeks, car has been with dealership for months and no communication from this dealership. We have been in to dealership in person, served them with an in breach of contract notice and still no communication. I am now taking this to litigation and social media. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere at any cost!

Where do i start with Arnold clark hillington. the first time I visited here I was looking to buy a new Renault traffic crew van for my business, when I spoke to the "business" sales person he laughed at me and said good luck getting one of those. second time round I went in to buy a dacia duster for my family. after waking around for about 20 mins trying to find someone to help me I managed to track down a member of the sales team. this time I explained I wanted the 4wd version to which he replied I don't need 4wd its a waste of my time and then went on to tell me that a pre registered duster would cost me more than a new one. once again I left frustrated and ended up buying my duster from another dealer.I have just visited for the third and final time, not sure what I as hoping for but as I was passing I popped in to enquire about a new dacia logan stepway. when I spoke to the salesman he didn't have a clue what I was on about, he didn't even know it existed. after explaining it was on the dacia website etc he told me without even checking that it would probably take 6 months to get one and at that he disappeared. once again truly shocking customer service. I did consider making a complaint to customer service but I have decided not to waste any more of my time or money with this dealership.

I was shocked at the level of hospitality that was given to me. I went with my uncle to buy a mercedes vito and was told by arnold clark that it was in mint condition. When i arrived i found out that the van had sustained water damage. The seats inside the van were rusted bearing in mind that the year of the car was 2014. Also the floor at the front was springy and the bolts inside were all rusted. On the outside of the van there were many dents and the back bumper was out. When we were talking to the salesman he first said tbat i cant have the deposit then they agreed to put the price down by £200 even though the damage was much more than what they were saying. I was disgusted at the level of hospitality. We travelled over 300 miles for a manager who said he has no time for us. I wouldnt recommend this arnold clark to worst enemy.

Whilst driving past Arnold Clark, Hillington I spotted a car that I had my eye on for a while. I picked it up yesterday and must say what a great experience I had through the whole customer journey from peruse right up to picking the car up.

I dealt with Gerry Connelly who was an absolute star, he really took the opportunity to get to know my requirements and made the whole process seamless. The sales manager Lewis was also brilliant.

You hear the horror stories about car salesman, but I can honestly say this was the most pleasant car buying experience I have had. I would definitely recommend Arnold Clark, Hillington and in particular Gerry Connelly! Nothing is a problem!

Not the best ..... would give it 0 stars ! Don't know who is worse ! Arnold Clark or Evans Halshaw !!!

Had several bad experiences , rude sales staff & a numpty of a Sales Manager , meant to be a Flagship dealership , don't make me laugh .... far from it ...... Not impressed & i will never go back.

Best to avoid at all costs !!!!

Turned up tonight at invitation of Arnold Clark Dacia Hillington to discuss prospective purchase of new car. Arrived bit early and had to wait, but that was Ok as chap I was to see was doing a handover . Another couple arrived 15 minutes later with appointment to see same chap . Hmmm! Salesperson turned up 5 minutes later with another younger person, and said he had double booked himself, and handed me over to his younger colleague.

His younger colleague turned out to be a second hand car sales person who knew nothing about the range of cars I was interested in, and had to get another new car salesperson. This latter person could not answer any of my questions, and when I pointed out the specifications I was looking for were all over the Internet, they said that was for a European specification car, no hint it was not available in UK as far as I could see on the site, but so be it. They then suggested an alternative which I said I would like to test drive the following weekend when my wife would be available, In response to this, and after they raised the alternative; no doubt meaning to be helpful in the process, they then admitted to not knowing when the specification for the alternative car they suggested would be available in the showrooms at all, never mind for a test drive, just it would be available sometime 'later this year'.

Basically left it at that , and told them to phone me when a car to the specification I was looking for was available. Basically a waste of an evening!

Owe, and the salesperson I was originally supposed to see, and who invited me? Never dingy me or any other customer like that again. It does not look or feel good. Oh my line of business? Dealing with customer care in the tourism and event industry. So I know a thing or two about keeping customers happy! Be there and know your stuff for a start!!!!!!
