Friendly attentive service without being pressured.

Sales staff were very friendly & helpful when we placed an order for a new car back in February, with expectation of delivery on 1st May. Here we are in mid July, no car. Our new car is in fact sitting on the tarmac in Inverness, with Arnold Clark Inverness Renault seemingly unable to match our agreed purchase price with the price they now want to charge us. Each time we return the invoice because it doesn't match the quote it's another week before another unacceptable invoice is returned. Communication only happens when we complain or push the issue.

In 30 years of car ownership I've never experienced such poor communication when buying a car, and seeming lethargy when it comes to sorting the problem out. We've gone from looking forward to switching to an EV to considering cancelling the order because nothing is happening.

When first looking at a new EV car purchase we looked online, and could have picked up the same car for the same price several months ago but from a non-local dealership via CarWow. But stupidly we decided to try local first to support local business. We're not going to make that mistake again, because whilst we care about giving business locally, it's obvious that Arnold Clark Inverness Renault doesn't reciprocate that by placing any value whatsoever on their local customers.

Key tip - unless the car you want is on the tarmac and you can drive it away there and then for the quoted price, don't risk it with Arnold Clark Inverness Renault, because you may be in for a big disappointment and a great deal of hassle.

Awful!! Made to feel like I was an inconvenience, blaming other staff , not taking ownership or apologizing and resolving issue. Typical Arnold Clark take it or leave it!! As previous reviewer said, so not Ness Motors!! :-((

Giving it one star, is one star more than they deserve, customer service is only a buzz work to these clowns!

If you want a Renault go elsewhere!

Replacement infotainment unit for Captur fitted within the time frame given - Casual but polite and friendly service. Car washed and vacuumed too, took a little time waiting for this but it saved me a job I dislike. Very satisfactory.
