Called the garage to ask what they could do for me as travelling between Inverness and Perth as a fault had appeared on the dash for the engine management and was trying to get to Edinburgh for my flight out for my holidays the next day. Was asked how far away as they were about to close soon. I asked if one of their mechanics would possible stay on to help me and was sternly told without talking a breath " NO!!!"
Managed to get the car to Edinburgh and took it to the Mercedes garage there at Newbridge.
The Perth garage could certainly do with going there to improve their customer service techniques ASAP. DISGRACEFUL and so looking forward to my call for feedback.
Newbridge garage could not do enough for me from the very second I walked in until I left.
Certainly would never give Perth my custom when looking for my next car very soon.

I was so disappointed in the sales man. I liked the car nd had not been s test drive then he says over the phone I must pay £300 for the deal or he can't give me the deal wow is that not hard push sales I just put the phone down so let down as I got told Perth Mercedes was a good garage well I so angry with the hard sales. I would have bought the car as it was lovely car sad

Having just bought an E Class Mercedes from this garage I would not hesitate to highly recommend them. The service I received from first visit to driving off in the car was first class. Nick (Nicholas Crookston), the salesman, was very professional and helpful and not at all pushy. He answered every question fully and checked before answering anything he did not know rather than make it up, which I have experienced in other garages. Nothing was too much trouble and the General Manager - Iain Law introduced himself, chatted for a few minutes and asked about my experience up to that point, which is, I think; indicative of the ethos he instills in his staff.
I'll certainly use the garage again if the aftersales service matches this and I have high hopes that it will.
Also, I've had 2 follow-up calls to check that I'm happy with the car so far; one from Nick and one from head office. As I said earlier: "first class".

Not to be confused with a Mercedes dealership - this is Arnold Clark in disguise with the same level of contempt for customers. I put 20k down on a car having been told the condition of it was 'excellent'. Once the salesman had his deposit, he stopped responding to me - no longer interested. I travelled by train to collect the car however it was a mess and hadn't been cleaned, signs of mould etc. and didn't have the service history that they alluded to. I've refused to buy it.

Its now 9 days later and I still haven't received my deposit refund. Go find a reputable dealer.

BETTER VALUE ELSEWHERE. Very dissatisfied with the manner and nature of the sales manager today. Had a budget of £30,000 to purchase a used Mercedes. Visited the dealership and had a great experience with Andy a salesman who was very patient and professional in his approach as we narrowed done our choice to a £28,000 C Class. Unfortunately we were unable to close a deal as Andy had to ask his sales manager for a valuation on a Landrover we wished to part exchange. Unfortunately this was £1,000 below that offered for a similar priced car from Audi Perth and we had also been offered a further £500 off the ticket price from the same dealership. Upon mentioning the fact that the competition was £1,500 less expensive for a similar priced car the sales manager then lectured that if we were comparing two C Class cars then this might be different. I explained to the sales manager that
Audi and Mercedes were comparable Marques and the ticket price for the cars viewed the same. Then the sales manager came up with the fact that he believed from looking at the car we wished to exchange might have a problem with the air suspension due to how he perceived the car was sitting in the car park. This in fact far from the case as the car had been serviced. If you need someone to lose a customer then I would recommend Mercedes Benz of Perth sales manager as he neither understands his competition when a customer comes in with £30,000, is unable to produce a competitive deal and his manner is abrupt. It is a shame as the stock is great, the showroom is wonderful after the refurbishment, Andy and the receptionist were fantastic. Just the Sales Manager lets down the side and needs a course or two on Commercial Awareness, Competitor Assessment and of course Customer Care.
