A total sham of after-sales customer service. Unprofessional approach to dealing with a genuine complaint.

A recently purchased car from this dealership was diagnosed with a fault. (A diagnosed fault by the Blackpool branch of Arnold Clark).

Whilst attempting to find a satisfactory resolution to the matter and passed from dept to dept I came across the Sales Manager from the Preston Motorstore whom I found to be aggressive, curt, dismissive and frankly rude. I do not appreciate being referred to as 'Pal' or 'Buddy' or being over spoken to and hung up on!
Having taken the complaint to Customer Services in Glasgow it became very evident that their after sales service is NON EXISTENT.

STOP! Do not give this company your valued business. Disgraceful customer service. From my personal experience they are totally untrustworthy. Please don't allow yourself to get involved with them no matter how nice they appear on the surface. BEWARE!!

I have never met a more rude and arrogant salesman who talks down to you like you don't know what you're talking about when you have done your homework on a car! Would not buy a car from here even of they paid me! You have been warned! Not even worthy of 1 star.

Rob was great through the whole sale and love our new car. Best price around and got a good price on part ex. Car came with plenty of warranty fully taxed and first aid kit.

Customer service is an utter disgrace.

The branch manager is arrogant and couldn't care less and the service department is run by a halfwit.

I have bought 2 cars from here and both have been problematic. My most recent car, a Chevrolet Cruze estate recently had a tailgate strut fail and the tailgate came crashing down on my 10yr old sons arm hurting him quite badly. I called the branch to inform them and say I was coming in for them to look at the issue and that I wanted to speak to both the service manager and branch manager as I was unhappy about this car and all the issues I've had with it/them so far.

The branch manager decided to hide in the corner behind salesmen, so he could avoid answering why I STILL don't have my manual/paperwork after 8 months and why my car (which was allegedly an ex service managers car and well looked after, probably the halfwits) was literally falling to bits.

Maybe the "missing" paperwork would shed some unsightly light on this?

In conclusion: don't buy from Arnold Clark as they simply don't care after, if you must then don't buy from this branch as they are rank amateurs and will try their best to either ignore you or give you the runaround hoping you get fed up and give up.

P.S. The first car I bought from this branch ended up having to have ALL four suspension springs changed after about 2 years.

I have had my car twice in here for mot and service. Last time I asked them if they could look at the front breaks as they are making a screeching noise from time to time. Still have the same problem. Don't even thing they looked at it,

When I took out finance on my car included a service and mot package with a car wash included. Last year and again this year the branch opted to not clean the car. I'm not even going to describe their shocking version of an mot to get money out of folk. If I buy another car with them will definitely not be taking another service package. Would rather pay a local garage for a friendlier service
